About "Initial D"

i watch the anime it was quite cool but i dun like the game it is too fake

The reason why I havent watched it yet is because the drawings seems weird. But I'll give it shot when I've seen the ones I want to see first Smile

The animation isn't that great and the storyline (at least what I gleaned from the first DVD) wasn't the best IMO (the fact that I don't really like auto-racing as a whole prolly has something to do with it)

All that said, the idea of having your tires catch on the ditches in the side of the road in order to negotiate sharp turns was pretty brillant.

im in the same boat as some people on here the animation is kinda bad and i dont reallly like street racing so i could never really get into it but once i watch the animes that i want to watch ill watch this

The short of it:

Character designs are funny.
Cars look awesome.

^'nuff said

The plotline is middling,
not entirely bad,
not entirely good.

Average,
except for the cars.

Even in the manga,
the cars were tip top shape.
Haven't seen better serialized vehicular transport systems : 3

Interested, but disinterested.
Not the most interesting.

I seen Initial D and I think it is really good. My brother buys it on DvD and I cannot wait until Battle :15 comes out. I just hope it comes out soon.

i have not seen the comic beforei only know it about car racing

was a fun story to watch. and the races were interesting. well, the fun part was watching all the cars =)

i like it drifting is awesome i hope to learn how to do it someday, and the real life movie sucks its nothing like the anime, i have seen the the whole series and its good i like it alot.

set aside the animation quality, Initial d is one really good anime, and for all wanna-be drifters/street racers out there, you can get very useful tips here.

and i also like it because of my obsession on import culture and japanese imports...
