-Sekai killed Makoto, Kotonoha killed Sekai (and then opened her up to check if she was really pregnant), Kotonoha hugs Makoto’s severed head on her family boat… So yea, I can understand why this was delayed. The black blood made things look kinda weird though.

are you serious? that ending totally made the show. that's where the show was going the whole season, and ending it any other way would have ruined the whole show.

I wonder if the studio took the extra time to redo this last episode due to the reasons that delayed the airing. It did feel that certain things were changed or even watered down (just a bit). But, oh man, the overall effect was still there.
I guess we were all waiting to find out who was going to get it coming to them. And in the end, we find out all three ended up f'ed up.

the blood was originally red, but to make it TV-safe, part of the agreement to let it air was coloring the blood black. Chalk it up to public-demand, the power of the people! Maybe when the DVD rips come out, it'll be red again.

but i really want to know, in original last epi, sekai have pregnant or not. any1 can tell me? i want comfirm it. some ppl say she is really pregnant in japanese TV

yeah, I'm with T-Rexx on this one... what didn't you like about the ending?
I thought everyone got what they deserved. Makoto for obvious reasons... you play with fire, you're going to get burned. Sekai was deceitful and manipulative, so she doesn't deserve happiness either. The only one I felt bad for was Kotonoha, but hey, that's what happens in life when you put yourself out on a limb. Not saying that people shouldn't take chances, but without friends to catch her when she fell, she succumbed to stress and was ultimately broken.

I would like to know how many people out there except for myself did not like the ending or the actual series.I myself did not like the whole series in general but im mostly talking about the ending.I dont want to start a debate but im just curious.
(I just wan say that i Did find that evryone got what they deserved at the end.But I still think that this series was uncalled for.)
Again just making myself clear and not wanting to start a debate.I just want to know how many poeple did not like it.

according to Kotonoha, she wasn't, since she actually cut Sekai open and said "We'll see if you're lying or not... ::cut, switch to disturbing view from inside Sekai's stomach:: Just as I thought... There is no one inside of you." Of course, Kotonoha is nuts and I wouldn't be expecting her to know what to look for. I mean... Sekai WAS getting morning sickness. Why would she fake that if she were alone? The only explanation would be that she was so afraid of losing Makoto that she fooled herself into believeing that she really was pregnant and her body has a psychosomatic reaction to fane morning sickness.

you didn't like it because you thought it was genuinely not done well or you didn't like it because it angered you (like most others)? Both are valid viewpoints since not everyone like everything, so I'm curious for some expansion on your thoughts.
Everyone knows my opinion, it's on the front page of the website... I gave it very high scores. I've seen lots and lots of anime over the years and spend many hours pondering the ins-and-outs, and I can say that no other series comes this close to perfection. if it's uncalled for... then what IS called for? It's a story, it appeals to some and not others. I appreciate it for not ending with the rosey, sunshiney, sugary-sweet "happy" ending. Life is harsh and cruel, and sometimes people need to SEE it in order to fully understand why they shouldn't do certain things.
If I had my say, I'd make every teenager in the world watch this. I heard a debate on my favorite morning radio show the other day in which the topic was teenage sex and someone mentioned that schools teach kids the mechanics of the physical aspects, but not the emotional aspects. Maybe that's more up to parents and friends, but through my studies of adolescence* I know that most kids learn more through the media and their peers. Unfortunately, most American media is "watered down" and never show the aftermath of most people's actions. School Days TV is exactly what we need to teach people the lessons they need to know. Some may argue this whole thing is fafetched, but depression and mental psychosis are not all that rare. This will help people understand how it begins.
