Most definately "Creep". Watched it last night, and its about this woman that gets stuck in the london Underground, but theres something else down there. Simple premise but extremely well executed, and man is it ever DARK as hell. A friend of mine described it best with "You know how in horror movies there's the build up, and then suddenly it drops and gets all spooky? Well Creep drops and jsut keeps on going". Literally, I could now believe what I was watching, its just soo.... DARK.
Not only that but its very noticeably British. THere's no supermodel girls running around screaming like headless chickens, no hero that saves the day, no indestructable alien/monster that gets destroyed in one ridiculous set-piece. Just real people doing what real people do. True horror like it should be.

Creep movie looks pretty good, has a "feardotcom" or "Saw" feel to it, hope its good, no horror movie has gotten me feeling the bumps for quite a while now.
I haven't seen feardotcom but its definately a lot better than Saw. That movie pissed me off...
The plot and the setpieces were awesome, but it was so poorly executed it made me laugh. The script and acting were laughable, and the cinematography was even worse. Instead of allowing tension to build we're treated to these dumbass rock music video-esque scene's with the actors moving in ultra fast motion apparently freaking our. Instead of actually showing the tension within the characters and allowing them to develop we get this MTV generation excuse of a filming technique... ugh.
Basically, I'd rather just skip the film to watch Saw's setpiece's. But I'm a sucker, so I'm still going to see Saw 2 hoping that this guys filing techniques, scriptwriting and casting skills have vastly improved. Hey, Saw was his debut so im giving him some slack, but fool me twice, you know what I mean?

Saw didnt seem like a horror movie to me at all, it seemed more like a thriller as there was no real theme of horror in that movie, yeah the cinematography was quetionable imo, the rock music definitely killed the tension for the film.

I rented two horror movies over the weekend, Ringu 2 (Jap version of course) and The Eye 2, (sequel to The Eye, a cantonese horror film) Ringu 2 was SOOOOO much better than the Ring 2, but it still was not up to par of the original Ringu. For one, Sadako was DEAD throughout the whole movie. She comes out ONCE near the end, but its not even her real face. Its this stupid mold that they made for her casket. It had a few good parts that made me jump, but besides that..... I give it a 6 out of 10.
The Eye 2 I have not seen yet, so most likely I will watch it tomorrow. _________________ Miku Miku!!

In the spirit of Se7en, I was really pleasantly surprised by saw. I work on and off at a video store so I plow thru lotsa films, but I'd been really let down by the quality of horror/thrillers nowadays. Saw is simply a must see.

im starting to give up on horror movies, they are not as fun as they as they used to be, Saw was ok but most of the mvies coming out now are dissapointing.
The most horrific movie, to me, was The Exorcist. That movie had such an evil aura and creeped me out. lol.
The Excorcist scary? Hmm, maybe I was doing it wrong but the first time I watched it (I was about 12) I thought it was hilarious. I mean, that little girl rocked! She kicks preacher ass!

the poltergeist 1,2,3
pet cemetery
the exorcist
well, the poltergeist would be my best horror movie ever, it is a damn great movie!! pet cemetery is also good as a horror movie. and for the exorcist, to be honest, it's quite boring at the beginning, but there are also many good and shocking scenes(green vomit, stabbing ** using the crucifix, back-crawling at the stairs, 180 degree head spin, etc). for me, the exorcist is too much a good movie despite its published time(somewhen around 1970s), without great technology that time, the scenes still look realistic and scaring.
halloween series
friday the 13th series before chapter 5
nightmare on elm street- only the first chapter
jacob's ladder- because it's just freaky
scream 1,2,3- great to bring a date
hellraiser- only the first one

Exocrist never scared me (*,*!). The best I ever wacthed can make me scream is JU-ON only other than that it just a same over horror movies and Korean horror movies always repeated the same way. The ghost died because of some reason they don't statisfied and get back to get revenge but always kill other innocent people and they can't even fight with the ghost and always ghost have the good ending . This way of ending started or being popular since JU-ON.
