Overrated anime

I woudlnt say that pokemon is overrated, he has a standard fanbase for a kiddy saturday morning cartoon, although i did ruin the game, making people think its for little kids

Thats probably because most channels don't have the good anime on.

Like me for instance. At home I have cable and I only have YTV to watch my anime's and stuff so I only get Pokemon, Digimon, DBZ, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, and Inuyasha.

wow they're still showing gundam wing where u r?! they showed that here like 8 years ago~! wish they would bring it back though but yea. bites how u don't get that much of a variety. currently they're showing stuff over here like: cowboy bebop (repeat), FLCL (repeat), inuyasha, samurai champloo, s-cry-ed, paranoia agent, that twilight braclet . hack anime thing!, gundam seed, pokemon, digemon, and shinzo..oh and FMA (repeat).

DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, InuYasha, and Sailor Moon....all very overrated. Most of the anime on [adult swim] is getting annoying, because for some it's their only access to anime and so they stretch it out so much in their fandom it becomes exhausted...

But as for Sailor Moon, I'm a huge fan of the last series...but that's just me. All the other series of Sailor Moon where way too over-played..

never thought that other people feel like naruto is gonna be the next DB, which i totally agree on. I don't even know what was the last Naruto i dled. It has way to much filler eps and it is becoming gay at a startling rate Shocked

Most overrated anime ever? By far it'd have to be DBZ, I didn't mind DB that much, but as soon as they hit Z is just got to be stupid. I have only seen maybe 5 episodes total, and each one made me want to reach for the trash can to puke my guts out. Where's the storyline? Where's the character development? Where's there anything but 20 minutes of grunting while they "charge" their power to a single attack powerful enough to destroy a planet yet not even leaving a scratch on their opponent? I mean how many other anime's out there(barring pokemon and the like) are able to get away with the main character dying weekly, and every single enemy they ever fight turning good in the end?

Not all the enemies turn into heroes in DBZ though I don't argue the fact that it's overrated.
