NEET Generation
From what I guess most of you won’t know what is the meaning of NEET (not LEET). NEET is the short form of saying Not in Employment, Education or Training, this word was first used in England in the 90s to describe the youth ( 16-18 ) that doesn’t want to socialize with other people. NEET usually happen in advance countries. For example, Japan which have problem with its younger generation that does not want to work. The interpretation of NEET in England is very much different of that in Japan. NEET in Japan are mostly in the age of 15 – 34, their status in Japan’s society is like a person that does not want to find a job, get married, getting into school or helping out in the household chores. In Japan, NEET is also called Mugyouha (a person that doesn’t work ).
NEET started out in Japan on 1997 where the Asian Economy Crisis was about to begin. At that time about 80,000 students graduated from the government school, they have the options of continuing their studies in University or start work. Since the number of available jobs was a lot unlike now. The number of jobs available in Japan started to drop in 2000 since the number of students graduated from government school multiplied 5 times than in 1997 about 400,000 students.
1. Yankee Kata ( Yankee Type )
This NEET is an outgoing type who likes to mix with their friends rather than finding a job. This type of NEET usually lives with the parent’s expenses. They are also called a parasite freeter.
2. Hikikomori Kata ( No Life Type )
This NEET is an anti-social type who likes to stay at home most of the time, surfing the net to waste their time. From the other three NEET, these types have lost interest in their own live and mostly commit suicide or jisatsu in Japanese.
3. Tachisukumu Kata ( No Confident Type )
This NEET is usually a person that graduated from a high education background but could not find a job.
4. Tsumazuki Kata ( Failed Type )
This NEET describe the a person who had work hard in their job but got sack or a person who tried to find a job but gave up in the end. This sort of gave them a trauma.
From the health board and Manpower in Japan, the population of NEET in 2003 had reach 520,000 people and they number of NEET would keep rising in the coming years. The rising number of NEET in Japan would be a crisis for government because it would affect the economic and social life of the nation in the coming years. For the government to stop this from happening any worst, they are offering help to NEET around Japan by giving them job training and council. So that it would help to motivate them in finding a job again.
If we would look further, the parents and the working place might also be a factor for a person to change into a NEET. In Japan, the parents are always overprotective of their child, therefore the child also look up for the parents for help. In the company, there is generation gap between the young and old employers. The head of the company intend to look at the older employee with respect and the younger employee as trash. They would also abuse the younger employee to work longer with the same salary or lesser. If NEET were ignored then Japan would not be a very advance country in Asia or in the world. Let hope NEET would not threaten any other countries.
my first draft of translation............... are any of u guys/gals a NEET?? XD

You should change the term of employer to employee when it fits. I am sure that the japanese language has a word for boss and suborinate.
The article is interesting but I don't believe that most industries are required to form a functional society even if the government has to limit our focus (not necessary our personal rights) to get rid of such trash as the resturnaut industry - not regulated enough and too cheap. You really don't know what high-class joints will try to sell you and the conditions of their place. If these Neet generation are forgetting about some sectors in the job market, it is not a problem. There are other ways to generate business.

Not planning on becoming a Neet. No way. I got lots of things in life I want to go do. I'm only 14, but I plan to start working after school to save money up for important things when I turn 15. Work work work. Thats what I'm going to do. _________________ [img:400:224:9a48d672c1]http://comalies.free.fr/images/ergoproxy.jpg[/img:9a48d672c1]
Which is worse? The madness of following Tao, or the madness of an existence without awareness?
Don't like what happens to you? Then change.
