whats your favorite type of video game?

FPS games are also time consuming since you play a series of games online.
The time flies fast when you're playing while RPG's require some patience

RPGs, mostly, because they last a long time. Morrowind, for example, was $60 or so for me (about $20 for the main game and both expansion packs, since I got them before the GOTY version), which is more than the average video game, but has lasted soooo much longer, and I haven't even finished everything. FF7=$10 when I got it, and lasted 70 hours, as another example. Then you have things like Soul Calibur II... I paid $50 for it, and I really only play it when my friends are around.

rpg no question. they allow me to really get stuck into a game, and i like following through the storylines, so a good storyline is essential to me.

Well my favorite game serieds- The Legend of Zelda is, i think both rpg and adventure, but more with the adventure. So adventure it is.
