That's horrible! I agree with whomever said the people who did this need to choke. This is just plain mean, my hightest hope is that it's raining hard as hell there and the people who did it are arrested with immediate death penalty! _________________

emm.. the sky seems to clear a bit. i hope this time indonesian gov gonna take good care of their farmers or i'll farm them.. hehe _________________

Anyways, good to hear, but still, there is one problem for the farmers though. There are so damn lot of them that sometimes I can say that the government even feels difficult as the number can be overwhelming. Another problem is that most of the farmers, unlike Singapore, are not registered. That means the farmers are doing the things on their own. They do not care about other things except to make money and also save as much as possible.
Fire is the easiest and cheapest way for these people to clear the land for farming. Bear in mind that they only get as little as US$1 per day for their farming and family needs. It is damn low and expect them to pay more for cutting down the trees one by one. In the end, we have to help them instead of condemning their action. They have to do it because they have to suvive. Unlike us who have higher education and better money. Most of them also has little education. Some does not even finish primary or worse, never goes to school at all. _________________ Innocent Tranquility
