The Simpsons Vs The Family Guy

The classic Simpsons episodes were good, I used to love them. Now however the writing turned to crap and they are slowly trying to copy Family Guy humor. Their last 3-4 seasons have been garbage and they're still making episodes for the sole reason of making money, no creative purposes what so ever.

If I didn't include the newer episodes, I would go for Simpsons for sure. I find myself quoting from Simpsons all the time. They produced a lot of witty dialogue and it was just implicitly funny. Now with the newer episodes, I'm losing my interest and it's just slowly going down the drain.

As for Family Guy though, I'm finding myself laughing a lot! But I think there are too many flashbacks, of Peter especially. And a lot of things just come out of the blue. All the humour in Family Guy just slaps your face, nothing really to figure out. I prefer creative, witty humour, it's more quotable.

Oh yeah, I didn't end up voting.

i think family guy is becoming the more better show as it is a more newly made one and it has more "fresher" material to make comedy from but alas the simpsons was good but its starting to become old and such

here family guy is only shown on paytv or dayitme, and the simpsons comes on at 6pm daily!
(doesnt that tell you something? the whole nation likes homer better...or we are just slow)
i didnt even know that family guy existed till last year my canadian friend told me about it...oh well wat do ya know, the vote is even again.

The simpsons seem to have run out of idea's. Some of their new episodes aren't funny, while in Family Guy, each episode has atleast 1 hilarious joke. Anybody not find this true?

yea i think ur right. but i have to say the old episodes of family guy seem funnier than the new episodes. but yea family guy is like funny while simpsons is like TRYING to be funny. i mean seriously i hardly laugh when i watch it. but family guy's hysterical moments are more memorable.

haha, you guys are hilarious. arguing about simpsons and family guy. i dont know why but i like watching the simpsons, just looking at how much it's developed since the years, it's just amazes me.
