well lets compare simalarities
both fathers are fat stupid people
both mothers have a winy voice
both have a boy as the older and girl that is younger
both babies are evil(magy and the guns Twisted Evil

)
differences
dog that can talk
age is upped by about 5 years
more sexual content involved in family guy
peter is more fat
family guys is more about individual troubles and each person usally faces them alone which in simpsons they go as a family
anyone want to add to it?

Well, they are both of my favorite cartoons, but I enjoy more The Simpsons because of the characters and that I grew up with Homer's bizarre actions and... stuff... Hmmmm... Donuts...

her i am, in taiwan, seen some bizzarre things, but nothing more bizzarre than the taiwanese dubbed simpsons @,@" wierd accents and wierd names, wierd to the point i dont think the story goes with its original anymore....

Why does every1 have this fixed view on the simpsons... i mean the whole world of the simpsons has become old. I say we forget bout the past n finally let some more television shows fit into are lives so were not transfixed over a dying show, now i think there are better shows than the family guy but again the family guy is newer has newer ideas and not only this, because audience is for more of a adult audience there is much more chance of development in the whole world and for more entertaining story lines than the restricted and lessening stories of the simpsons...

This was definitely a hard choice to make. But in the end I said Family Guy because it just exceeds The Simpsons in sheer mindless stupidity. And I can't say no to Stewie, he's just too funny.

well from 8-14yearsold i guess i really loved the simpsons but as growing up i tend to like family guy better .I still like simpsons thought very classic.But for now family guy gets the thumbs up
