hahaha...most of us can't play Halo 2 that well, but it's still fun.

I'm a MMORPG hardcore gamer, but I do have friends who are also hardcore gamers. We actually play online games together and we are pretty damn hardcore. Sometimes we can play from 8 hours to 15 hours a day. And on weekends it's crazy.

I am a loner. And a gamer. But I think that is just a coincidence. I dont think that all gamers are loners, and I dont think all loners are gamers.

For me, the reason I am a loner is not because people think my obsession for games is weird, but because I just dont like opening up to people. Partly because I have always been the type of person who likes to be alone, partly because I used to be bullied (but now I'm 6' 6" so it doesnt happen any more), and partly because I have been hurt in the past when I did try to open up. The fact that none of my friends are the type of people you can trust doesnt help either.

I used to be a loner back in the days of freshman and sophomore years of high school. I would just go home and play games literally until I fell asleep, which was pretty damn sad. that was more than 5 years ago.

I am still a hardcore gamer, playing 100% completion rates in my games, missing work to fully experience a game without stopping, an so on. But at the same time, I am a popular person at work, I have a girlfriend, and make friends instantly with classmates in college.

The reason that alot of hardcore gamers are loners is because theyhole themselves up in the obsessions, and don't even realise it is all they talk about. Only 3 out of the dozens of close friends I have know I write for AS, know how to build a computer, and video games is my biggest hobby. The reason for this is I always talk about other things that would be interesting to them, not myself.

I'm a gamer and I'm sort of a loner. It's not that I'm shy or too busy, it's just that I have no patience and I tend to dislike everyone I meet. I have a couple of friends I can barely stand, that's about it. Why is it everything people do sickens me?
