HAIZ!!!!!!! why is reality so cold? WHY? actually i know that stuff in ichigo 100% would never happen to me but somehow secretly inside i want it to happen. i felt so empty and miserable after reading ichigo 100% not bcuz the manga sucks(the manga is actually 1 of the best i ever read)but i really want the stuff in ichigo 100% to happen on me. its juz so romantic and dreamy but the thought that girls would be throwing themselves on me and liking me so much like ichigo 100% is nearly impossible. TELL me why is reality so darn cold?

You sound very desperate...

Manga is fantasy. It allows you to escape from reality just like any other novel/comic/manga. It expands your imagination, but not far enough to make you think it's real...

Manga and anime are created to let people have a chance to escape the reality. There would be nothing that connects these two different place, as they have nothing in common. You won’t expect any girl to throw herself upon you, as that would never happen in the cold reality

I bet drunk women sometimes throw themselves onto other guys.

Well, sure they do. But in the manga or anime, I don't think the girls throw themselves upon boys, simply because they are drunk?

That's what we said.
We know Manga = Fantasy.
Manga is reading material like a novel except it's just dialogue with pictures. 'Too much manga' is like 'Too much reading' and the last time I checked, reading is good.
Manga could also expand your vocabulary in foreign languages as well.

I'm out of high school, and everything is too subtle and I liked how a romantic manga would show you that any girl is free to try these crazy tactics. I know that stare that was mentioned in Ichigo 100% is useful. If you want to know if a girl likes you, you can stare at her for three seconds and see if she turns away and blushes.

One problem with Ichigo 100% is that even though Manaka is the main character, he is not shown doing everything a guy does. Cut out the boring parts in most guy's high school life, and you can get something like Ichigo 100%. But guys are romantic thinkers in any way, so we don't cut out the boring stuff. If you really want to know girls however, read some Shakespeare comedies. Or talk to them. Whatever fulfills your fantasy. Laughing

But if you talk to them too much you're "just a friend"

Well..... do i really sound that desperate? actually i am quite good looking.....i think bcuz there r like a lot of girls in my school who likes me and have a crush on me. almost all the girls in my class and the class beside commend on how handsome i look... but the point is that they say they like me or whatever crap and they dont give a damn about it unlike mangas, so why is reality so different. the only one scene that reminds me of a manga is when this girl in my class waited 4 me in the busstop so we can take the bus home together(we take the same bus juz that she alights first)

I have some of the same experiences, but reality is far from fantasy. Manga's give you a story that you wished to be true, as for reality... Tough luck.

I personally had experiences similar to ones in manga's, but I'm too lazy to mention them.

If you do that in real life, they might think you as a peeper, or a pervert...

It isn't impossible but it is highly unlikely that the kind of stuff that goes on in a manga will actually be useful in real life. Overall just go by experience.

well i've had some girls throw them selves at me a few times, but it wasn't no fantasy like in mangas, maybe if they were a bit cuter, or if they didn't threaten me, well as you can see, i'm more like the girlsourus main character, the girls that do try these things on me are how can i say not my type, don't get me wrong i'm not shallow its just, personality matters more to me, and they lack good points to it, and some girls i'm afraid they might try to kill me if i mess up

but i can tell you this i found my self in some situations like in 100% ichigo, where i got jumped standing up for this girl i liked, and i don't quiet remember but i think another girl i liked lost her sandels and the ground would have been painful to walk on so i ended up giving her a piggyback ride back to her house while doing that i got pretty close to her but because i couldn't choose which girl i like more their both gone from me, damn i wish i found out about 100% ichigo sooner, maybe i would have made up my mind quicker, *sigh*
(on the side note one of the girls remind me of aya and the other one reminds me of nishino)
