| Well, I guess I belong to the Neutral side. I would like to give all the anime a chance, and when I'm watching a new series, I always hope that they turn out to be great. But as for some shows, I found them boring no matter how many times I watch them. As to these ones, no, I don't give them a chance at all. |

| I'd say im pretty Neutral. I give some the chance but i criticize when it comes to art style. I gave Samurai Champloo a chance and it turns out i like it. ALso Last Exile i gave a chance i like that also. But just some i cant stand. |

Thanks a lot sai12 and kaykay for complimenting me on this idea. I actually had this on my mind for a while(about 2 weeks before I put it up), but never managed to make the thread for it. 
I'm a little shocked with a lot of people, there are some people that I thought would be dark anime reviewer for sure *Cough*Himitsu*Cough*  Now that I think it through, he is pretty neutral after reading a lot of his reviews.

no problem~! u deserve credit it's a really good question that everyone can answer to. lol. yea himitsu has to have a lot of tolerance to complete all those reviews in an un bias manner..lol...pretty neutral with an occassional dark side..lol.

| I seriously doubt people actually think that they are dark type. I mean, if they really think so negatively about the anime, why do they watch it at frist place? Surely they don't just want to confirm their believes that the anime they are going to watch is not good? |

Very good idea.
Himitsu, I made that same mistake. I always forget to put she when posting about you but I know that you are a girl because I mistakened you for a boy before. This is your second time correcting me(remember the Shuffle! boards).
My friend is pretty dark in sense of her type of anime. She only watches male/male hentai anime(she rated Loveless a 7 out of 10 overall, can you believe her, she said the "story" got in the way of what she likes), anime with very kawaii characters(Bottle Fairy, Pita-ten), and....... That's about it. The only anime she watched outside of that category is Maria-sama and Elfen Lied(she couldn't resist after I showed her the 1st episode).
She loves anime though but she doesn't really even bother unless it fits within her category or it comes on telelvision.

great idea for a poll/thread!
well i recently just submitted my first review and admitidly i favoured the anime quite a bit. ive only started watchin anime and readin manga within the last year, so im just trying to watch as much as i can.
back to the point, id say im a bit more light atm, seeing as i like most of the storylines ive come across in some way or another(and id probably give them a half decent review. Im willing to watch to watch most things atm, but only if they've had a good reviews in the past, or if some1 says its worth watching, ill watch it just to see what they may have liked about it. |

| Nuetral with a bit of dark. Most of the time I will watch everthing before i pass out my review. I can be very harsh at times when giving out reviews^_^ |

| Most of the time i'm a dark. I don't give anime a chance unless their showing some potential in the begining. If they don't then they suck. The only times i'll reconsider is when someone has read half the series and says it's good. However, when i'm bored and read all the good ones ill read the bad ones. Even if it's horrible from beginning to end. |

i myself dont get bored in the first episodes if the anime is a waste of time thou if i get bored i wont be trying to watch the same anime again 
ps. if some series get unwatched to the end they keep haunting me of what would have happened in the end  |
