hey. I was just wondering if any of you have read both. I've seen Ranma 1/2 and started reading the manga, and was wondering is maison ikkoku is just as good if not better. I know they're slightly different, but I'd like to know if any of you liked both.

If you like that author's style, and you like shojo/romance manga, then, it (Maison Ikkoku) is a great manga to read.

They both are completed. Maison ikkoku has more romance while Ranma 1/2 has more comedy. i like ranma 1/2 more.

Well, I suppose more people would prefer Ranma ½ than the other one. Not much people are into romance, and certainly not the old ones.

Yeah, I kind of preffered Ranma1/2 over Maison, but Maison is a really good comic.

They are both great and finished... But for Maison, it is more into romance stuff, while Ranma is mainly crazy comedy. So it still depend on that readers' taste... Confused

Prefer Ranma more comedy with some martial arts (38 volumes)
and Maison Ikkoku aint bad but plain romance that lacks comedy (15 volumes)
