favorite metal/deathmetal bands

I resently stumbled across a band much like Iron maiden actually there called Iced earth i've now became quite attached to them they really are great!

yea..Iced Earth is great..just like Blind Guardian...i like most of their songs,esp the Bard's Song.... Very Happy

Iron Maiden's Aces High is 2nd to none imo....
Metallica's previous albums are way much better indeed...
maybe this will be a little out of topic but i just wanna say dat Def Leppard is the best rock band ever!!! yea,Pour some sugar on me baby~!!

but i prefer the old albums up to 1991 the other albums like load up to st. anger i like but i think its not there best my best album by them tho is MASTER OF PUPPETS \M/><\M/ (im a big metallica fan if you didnt gues yet) Very Happy

but i like Trivium, Slipknot, Slayer, Megadeth, Mudvayne anything along the line of those
but im not really a death metal fan but i do like Cradel of filth

I actually hate metal bands and all, but when I used to listen to a few of their songs, Slipknot was one of the good ones.

Duality is the pace for me. Then comes Wait and Bleed.

Metallica, there old songs not the newer ones, i liked "unforgiven" and "one".the black album was my favourite.

Slipknot are pretty cool, i liked their "666" song and "wait and bleed".

But i kind of like PULSE OF THE MAGGOTS cause its got a cool ase solo in it but my all time fav slipknot song got to be MY PLAUGE Very Happy

my guess is that most of these fit into speed metal if you were to classify it even more
