Yeah, it's pretty obvious that they are the same person. There's probably gonna be some ultimate plot twist for this that concludes with an insane double reaction from Kuroyanagi and Pierrot. Laughing

Well, despite whether or not he's the same guy, he is very inhuman. At first I really thought that he's acting that way to make Azuma become the top baker( I am ususally optimistic). But after reading the latest chapters, I seriously can't continue on that thought, especially when he.....

uses azuma's face as dart pratices.

it seems like the same guy. the guy doesn't know azuma . do u realize azuma did not shake his hand... if they shake they might remember or the best is the beard guy will know him. then why doesn't he continue doing japan? i can't hardly wait. Shocked

yes I find it quite hard to believe that they are one and the same person, I would have thought he would have met the original baker, and I had suspicions wen they introduced him. But it seems that he's must have change a huge amount. Some how he got corrupted.

i think it's the same person also. i hope they dont end up making it stupid. (like have some brainwashing bread some other guy makes to control the baker from ch1 and make him the st pierre figurehead)

I agree with your first statement. It is really obvious in the manga but the anime makes that better. If they showed what the manga showed, the show would be ruined. There goes 100+ episodes down the drain. Smile

In reality it is obvious but remember, that was 10 years ago. It states in the manga later on that he does not remember his face. I already figured the spoiler out during the anime series. Crying or Very sad

I think it's the same person also. If you notice everytime he's in the scence he has a shadow over his face. You know they're going to do that ol' student surpasses the teacher theme (fight on young grasshopper)

who knows but its pretty obvious that kirisaki is the mystery baker who went to France to get trained then came back and taught Azuma baking principles, then went off to Tokyo...to do something. OMG WHAT COULD IT BE. maybe he set up a baker like he was planning to. But that couldn't be St. Pierre's could it...

But it explains how kirisaki was an evil guy to his kids, and how he remains that way, but for some reason if he was the guy that taught azuma how to bake, he was putting on a front. Maybe he had plans for Azuma and so he tried to reel him in, who knows. We'll find out eventually

Kanmuri once said that a good business owner doesn't show his innerself or something.

i guess they're the same person. The owner of St Pierre is called Kirisaki, which is the same as the man whom taught azuma how to make bread. (read chap1 again)

But the question is....what made him tuen against his dream of creating Japan? Since now his creations are Gopan.
