Gundam Seed 3?

ohhhhhhh..... i'll sooooo watch if they going to make 3. But u can't kill off Kira, because Kira is number 1!

I don't think anyone in THAT space would be able to go against Kira now, because there's no one else left to go against him. Look at all the new characters who go against Kira, they all were beaten up good.

There will be a 3rd series. It has been confirmed by Sunrise a couple of months ago.

"More and more great things come as we move closer and closer to the holidays. A site made by Moon Phase reports that in Comic Gun's February Issue that Sunrise has confirmed a 3rd installment of Gundam SEED. However, there are no details so far and it has yet to be mentioned on their main site."

You people gotta stop trashing GSD. It was pretty good in the first 20-30 odd episodes, but like many have mentioned, it got smuthered with fanfare so ya. It had potential. I'm not going to get deep into it so ya Razz

As for the 3rd series, I suspect we won't be seeing it anytime soon within the next 2 years. GS and GSD's usual T.V. spot has been filled up by other anime already for the coming 2 years. So we won't be seeing this third series unless they go with another t.v. station over in Japan.

It should be good, but it might just end up like GSD. Start off good but trails off and everything just smucks up 'cause of fans.

I myself am looking foward to it. I don't really care about the actual series anymore, it's gotten to the point where the only thing that attracts me to the GS series are the mechs.

The more cool stuff they come out with, the more MG Gundams Kits I get to build Very Happy

i dont know if any has mentioned this yet, there has been a rumor saying that there IS a 3rd series.

and further more, Fukada has mentioned something saying "gundam seed Eternity" in a interview before.

and.. the director... is again, Fukada.. ARGH!!

I must say the first 20-30 episodes were great even...heck I loved it

but some main things that ruined it...

one...when you kill a character...make sure they stay dead...how can you posibbly survive a blast from lowengrhen...even then...how do you live in space without a helmet

second...when you make one character into the main character...don't change your ideas in the middle of the story

third...do not be a @$$ and repeat the story

I agree w/ you shadow. Exactly how did he survive the blast? Theres no way and just like you mention w/ no helmet. Thats ridiculous, though im kind of glad he was in destiny.

Repeating the story w/ added new characters and gundam was also not that great of an idea but it wasn't that bad neither.

About changing the main character in the middle of the story was actually a good idea for GSD. I can't imagine shinn being the main character for the whole Destiny series. Cmonn he was an ass that was only think of himself of being right. Athrun ( did i spell it right?) have to guide him through the whole series and he still didn't have any common sense knock into him until the final battle. It was a smart move to change back to Kira, since he seen it all, done it all, and felt it all. He was the one main guy that can relate to all the character in the series. Though I felt like he lost his emotion during Destiny. When he was in Seed he have so much fire in him.

About GSD's main character focus.

It was supposed to be focussed on Shinn but because of "fans" they switched it to Kira. I'm pretty sure the plot/story wasn't supposed to be like how it ended up. Fans didn't like Shinn and wanted more Kira, so Fukada changed the story-board based on that.

About Mwu's survival. This is the GUNDAM UNIVERSE where COORDINATORS AND CLONES exist... any thing is possible, it doesn't surprise me that he SOMEHOW managed to survive. Just like how Kira magically survives every lethal defeat.

If there will be a third series, it will be moved by the fans again unless Fukada is using this 3rd series to redeem himself.

Let's just hope he doesn't do what he did with Heine. Introduce him... kill him off in a few episodes... He was only there to boost sells for Mech-Kits.

Gundam Seed was much better than Gundam Seed Destiny. I think a lot of Destiny was indeed fanservice.

Bad Points: Fukuda was clearly running out of ideas. Wow like one giant space cannon wasn't enough last time. Maybe two will make Destiny's ending better. Impulse was too similar to Strike as well, I realize that they wanted Strike's versitality but too similar... And Destiny, junk all three silhouettes on a MS frame... Legend was Providence in most terms. Cast of annoying characters: Arthur, Meer, Shinn, dude who wanted to marry Cagalli, etc. Not to mention killing screen time for Shinn by taking out a lot of Kira in the beginning. Kira and Athrun's development didn't really go anywhere. And what I'll hate forever: Ruining Mwu's heroic death.

Good Points: Music was pretty decent. None of them got as bad as "River" from the original SEED. Some new information into the druggie program that OMNI had running. Thats about it... -___-

So since they got a green light for GS3, if Fukuda is directing it again, he better make it good. Otherwise he's digging himself a grave...

Well actually Wing of Words isn't that bad. Its just more suited for an ending theme, but they used it as an opening theme. I didn't like it at first, but I got used to it and it was fine. Still a lot better than River though lol

I was pretty sure Lunamaria would die. Seeing as how any girl with Shinn promised to protect died. e.g his Sister and Stellar...

I think it was mentioned in an interview that Athrun was supposed to lose an arm at the end of GS. Rolling Eyes
