Gundam Seed 3?

Just for laughs, how about "Gundam Seed Alternative". You know, like how they change Futakoi 180 degrees in F.Alternative.

The setting would be totally different and story would be more comedy oriented^_^.

Whatever the new series is like, I hope it doesn't carry on the Gundam tradition of Rushing the eding (in Destiny this tradition was catastrophic).

Rushed endings (as far as I know):
-Mobile Suit Gundam (got cancelled halfway through, so had to end quickly)
-Gundam X (also got cancelled)
-Gundam Wing (Although Endless Waltz fixed this partially)
-Gundam SEED (A short OVA also wrapped it up a bit better, although not TOO much better)
-Gundam SEED Destiny (Fiasco rushed ending)

A special mention should be made for Gundam F91, which was supposed to be a series but ended up as a movie.

Better luck next time, Gundam!!!!

i dont really care if there is another Gundam Seed series, they should try to fire Fuduka and get a new director to see how it turn out. if it comes out worst then Gundam Seed Destiny then it might not be Fuduka fault. Sunrise or Bandai should cut back on the reuse scenes and no more damn fillers. click here you will see that most of the people at AnimeSuki blame Fudukas wife. Laughing

they should probably do a Gundam series based on the Astray manga. Rolling Eyes

ps - i dont want that annoying Shinn in the 3rd series, if there is one.

Rumors say that its called 'Gundam Seed Eternity'. But I totally doubt that. And even if it is true about GS 3, It'll probably bomb like GSD. Well, if they change the script writers and directors.....

OrangeRage: Where'd you get that info? From what I gathered browsing other forums the next Gundam is set for release in 2006, but wouldn't be a SEED series. Of course I wouldn't really know myself, but it just doesn't look that way.

Mario you don't have to go flaming people because they like gundam. If a new gundam comes out, i wonder how they will continue the series. A couple of years into the future of gundam seed destiny or about the past of gundam seed wouldn't be so bad. Or a brand new story.

you know what they should do with gundam destroy it and start over first they should remove the flying robots cause thats just stupid, second they should move it to a planet that looks cool, third they should put in new characters with funky hair and funny catch phrases like "Protect My Balls" and then there should also be better looking chicks with boobs that can shoot lazer beams and the chick should also all be teachers with revealing uniforms and do funny poses like the over shoulder peace pose. then what it needs is a dark bad guy with a really fashion sence like the bad guy in tengho tenge.

Ok, some of Mario's objections are more or less valid, not really getting my personal feellings into the matter. (In my opinion Gundam is awesome as it is although it has room for improvement, and your oversimplification is only proof of ignorance) Anyway:

So, Flying robots? Not all robots in gundam fly but.. check, ok... I was somewhat uncomfortable with that too. It wouldn't pain me to see all the flying robots go (besides the original gundam couldn't fly, could it?). However, I am not sure if I'm comforable with the flying angels in Evangelion. So, they have a force field to float? If you can accept "force fields", you can accept engines that can hold a robot in mid-air.

Second, "move it into a planet that looks cool". Isn't Earth cool enough? Evangelion happens on (guess where?) EARTH!!! In earth we have seas, jungles, deserts, cities, mountians, etc. I do think the environments should be used more carefully, but I bet that if gundam happened in a made up planet people would complain that it is made up. If you say that all gundam happens in space you really don't know what you're talking about.

Funky hair? Who cares about that? Amuro had a fro... funky enough? Catchy phrases would be fun, though...

I agree a 100% on the women thing (well, except for the lasers part... maybe). Yes, gundam DOES need more good looking women. seing only Murrue's breasts bounce is not enough Laughing

And the bad guys in gundam wear military uniforms... so good fashion sense doesn't matter. I gues when they dress up as civilians...

I think that everyone has a right too there own opinion, even MacDaddyMario (althou you don't need too shere it with the rest of the world). Personaly i liked both Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. And I would like too see a third season, especially after seeing the final episode of GSD. But in the end it's all about the whole expences vs profit bit.

P.S. I know my spelling sucks. If you find enything misspelled don't bother telling me about it!
