leoxjm, i'm glad that someone finally gave me a real and intelligent response...it was about time too. thanks for your detailed reply i have considered what you said and have desided that i will be more leaniant with gundam.

That's ok. If you don't like gundam stuff is your personal choice, and in the end there IS room for Gundam series to improve. I mean, arent those things what this thread is partially about? The stuff we'd like to see next in a future Gundam Series (hopefully a SEED one).
I just watched a parody sub of the last episode of GSD. It was pretty funny, and they also had the argument that if Fukuda stays the next gundam series would feature Kira's return as the main character at some point or other. Those people probably didn't have better info than any of us here, but at least the desire for a better Gundam SEED continuation to round up a trilogy is seemingly widespread.

That parody freaked me out....
Anyway, i doubt that there will be a third season. well, i'm not fully sure until i get to watch the 40 min special
But in the third season. i pray that Kira may die a CRUEL AND PAINFUL DEATH
and all became bright and gay! |

i hope GS 3 would be a brand new story not continue the old story! the old story is already suck with the second series so if there was to be a GS 3 better have a better plot of story!

Hey, did you get that parody in english somewhere? the one I've seen is in spanish and I think it is hilarious. I would like my friends to see it witout having to translate it for them
Even though Kira was used cheaply in GSD I don't think I'd like to see him die yet. I sill like his character. I actually hope that he is either gone or a side character for the ENTIRE series instead of taking lead near the end or dying somewhere in the middle. Even though he is cool and skilled he dealt with all his demons already. Its time to see other characters grow. In GSD We already missed the chance with Shinn, who ended up losing all development and even his piloting skills. There was a lot of room to expand on him and sadly it was never done.

Nah my friend brought me to his house, hes from Europe i think. Told me a bit of what they were saying.
Anyway, your right. i was just joking with the kira death thing but i personally prefered his character in Seed than in Destiny. And Shinn too... well I haven't seen the 40 minute special yet but i feel he lost everything because of the rushed ending. And i didn't expect him to lose to Athrun SO BADLY. Even without 'seed' mode, Athrun was holding on quite nicely. I hated the part where Kira 'Died' in episode 34. It was a nuclear explosion for heaven's sake... And i don't really like the feeling of all the girls hanging on to Athrun
Anyone else agree that in GSD Kira and Lacus became angels? (if you know what i mean)

So far it is just a rumor. There is no official confirmation yet. Right now we're just arguing whether or not it would be good to see another sequel and how that sequel should/would be like. Not like Sunrise will care much about the input in this forum, but it is fun to just talk about it.
Meatwagonofdoom: The rushed ending that killed destiny will still be there, with or without a special. The thing is, I just hope that the Special would tie up the loose ends that the end left hanging. I don't think that a single episode can improve the quality for the entire arc, but it might be a good thing to see anyway. Or would give us more reasons to bash at the people that killed their own series.

Yes the ending will still be there but we can at least hope that that 40 minute special might affect GSD with something that might blow us away 
Well this 40 minute special is probably gonna have lots of emotion and stuff. Doubt they'll be any battles.

Having a Gundam Seed 3..... hmmm well, I hope they don't use the same story format like they did with the first 2 editions.... the first 5 episodes like something about stealing new Gundam Mobile suits.... then the next 10 episodes like chasing after some kind of special ship (eg. Archangel and ...... argh forgot the other ship's name in the second edition) then after that followed by a heck a lot more fighting.......
Kinda seems repetitive.....
But I think Gundam Seed 3 should be less violent than the other two.... poor people.... getting killed like nothing.......

Sigh...
the deaths here aren't as bad as many other animes, isn't that violent really.
I admit it is repetitive but the fighting quality isn't too bad. And the gundam designs are alright.

I have to say I like the really do like Gundam Seed. Though I am very annoied that I was never able to finish the series I missed the last episode and while I was waiting for it to loop around again the channel I was watching it on cut it about half way through the series. Now I do have a question for everybody here I would like to know if any of you could tell me where I can download GSD?
