i cried when they charlotte and the pig bid their farewells and how they described how charlotte died.. it was soooo saddening... _________________

"Outsider" is actually an incorrect translation as it implies that he is outside of society when really he is a part of society. "Stranger" is better. _________________ [img:309:200:9b3695521e]http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8583/dobedobedojs0.jpg[/img:9b3695521e] |

I'm reading Yves Bonnefoi, Les Planches courbes. In this book, there's a mix of poems and stories.
What can I say, it's really boring but it's a lil good |

Currently reading "Four Steps to Death". About the battle of Stalingrad told from the views of a Russian Soldier, A German Soldier and a 8 year old child.
I recommend some books that might interest some of you:
MEG: A novel of deep terror
The War of the Worlds
The Lord of the Flies
Carrie
The Green Mile
Goosebumps Series (childish yeah but still nice to read) _________________

after playing a bit in the soon to be LotR mmorpg, my passion for the lore was piqued again. so i went to borders and picked up a set of the books. i finished reading The Hobbit over winter break and am just finishing up The Fellowship of the Ring.
it's been something like 5 or 6 years since i last read this series, and i'm still blown away by their sheer epicness (goober in me getting excited ^^) _________________

I don't think I've seen this thread before.... but anyway
Over the long summer holidays I had the urge to re-read the harry potter series. Taking my time and I'm currently up to the 4th book, I still enjoy as much as I did when I was 11~ >.< and also waiting for when they release the 7th book. _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

Right now im reading the last book of The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, its a series of 7 books, listed down here:
Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
Dark Tower II: Drawing of the Three
Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass
Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla
Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah
Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower
Im on page 200 out of the 1000+ pages paperback edition. I just gotta say that it is a really great story, and it uses various characters from other of the Stephen King's many novels. If you dont mind reading 7 books that vary from 215 pages to 1000+, than you should read this series RIGHT NOW!!!! |

I picked up a book by George Carlin called Napalm and Silly Putty, mostly because if its title. I thought it was cool. As I read it, I come to learn that Carlin is nothing more than a cynical, angry old man who for some reason wrote this book just to bitch about life. I mean the man even has bad things to say about putting on a seat belt......I dont find him funny at all, minus a very few segments, and I its an ever rarer occasion when I agree with him on anything. All in all, a ginourmous waste of time and money. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Hmmm, finished reading a book by Trudi canavan about a week ago called "Last of the Wilds" which is the second book of a series. I'm also following Darren Shan's books for the Demonata currently and I've just finished reading "The Wintersmith" by Terry Pratchet~ Terry Pratchet just RAWKS _________________ "My honesty hurts, more than the lies you told me,

recently finished lovely bones by alice sebold
i heard about it from a few friends who said it was a total tear
jerker, personally i didn't cry once. or really feel bad... despite
its some what "graphic" scenes. [contrary to the cute title there's
rape and such].
overall i'd say its a weird book that has a pretty cool
concept, especially the fact that it starts AFTER she's dead.
i wouldn't recommend it, but yet i wouldn't not recommend it... its ok.
now i'm on to reading: 1984 by steve orwell _________________ "The basis of optimism is sheer terror."
