Ok, it's about the Ragnarok (not the PC game, the end of the Gods Ragnarok! Read Norse Mythology damnit!)

Fenris Fenrir, who is a titan wolf in the Norse Mythology, but in this one she's a girl, is looking for Balder (correct spelling is Baldur, but meh.) so that she can change the world. But, she must find him before the Valkyries can. If Fenris Fenrir find Balder before the Valkyries can, then Ragnarok will happen and the gods (Odin, Thor, etc) will fall. If she cant, the Gods will rule for another millenium.

Need to tell there is two ragnarok comic that I know...
The first is Maintenai Loki Ragnarok (I think that's how it is spell >.<)
It's exactly the same thing with what zerosedge
and the second is just Ragnarok
The second one is telling about how the darkness(basically resemble the dark force) has been roaming free through the world and they take form of beast/ monster. So in order to be able to move from town to town people need to hire mercenary and this mercenary have different level (up to SS).
One of the person who is equal to SS mercenary is call Ragnarok, but for somewhat reason he do not want to join the mercenary guild. The rest figure out by yourself ^^(don't want to spoil it >.<)

The first one is licensed so buy it hehehe>.<...
The second one just try to search it,

The problem with Ragnarok is that they stopped making it. x_x

They release one chapter every looong once in a while (since the author's working on the Ragnarok game, as I recall), but that's it, and only back in Korea. It'll be years before we get the next volume (11 is next, I believe).

just to be picky.. ragnarok is a "manhwa" not manga, since it is Korean. Smile

But it doesn't really matter. It's not like people can tell them apart by just glancing at them. The art style is similar enough that you can't tell them apart (unlike most American art and manga/manwha), and if you're not good at telling Korean and Japanese names apart, it's not like you can really tell right away.

Manga is such a popular term, that it's no biggy if someone refers to a manwha as a manga.

The manga is the same one the online game is based off of.

The artwork was fantastic, but manga completely fell short in the other respects. They stopped producing it, I guess it didn't sell enough or something.

No, it's still being written, just not actively. In the magazine it originally came in, they release a single chapter every 4-6 months. That's obviously not enough to create a new volume, except over very large amounts of time, but it's still being created, and I'm sure the 11th volume will come out in Korea and then America once they have enough.

I wouldn't say the manga fell short in any respect... Towards the end, it wasn't as good as the beginning, but the storyline's perfectly fine, and character development is certainly there.
