there isn't anymore of those fighting animes like yu yu hakusho and flame of recca.. you know those tournament fights and such... i hope they make another anime with those kinda themes... with better animation...

More emotion without the melodrama. I cant stand when characters start whining and repeating the same complaints over and over again.

hERE hERE! For example, the writers of Eureka Seven are too eager to engage our pathos and go about it very clumsily. It's tiring and eventually becomes unbearably annoying. It insults my intelligence.
mORE anime with a unique vision and execution (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Mushishi and even Last Exile)
but I also hope anime doesn't get too ironic and self-conscious
mORE big fighting robots (that don't ride surf boards)! |

I would like to see more intelligent anime, like ergo proxy, cowboy bebop, mushishi, or honey and clover. I guess my definition of intelligent anime are ones that are well thought out and have a lot of "meaning" 0.o
Although a completely insane anime like school rumble is great every once in a while

I would like to see an anime where has the main character serious mental condition. Like a guy on last day of deathrow who accept it and his mind goes blank, but then they'll rescue him, but he's still thinking like in deathrow.
Or someone whos gone crazy after all he's been through and hangs himself on the begining and ending of series (no sequels) - playing with the timeline. |

An anime with an insane person as the main character would be so epic. I'd like to see more anime like that, and like Lain. Confusing, scary at times, and with a plot that could kick yer arse.
I'd really like to see more chics with guns. Like Bakuten.
I'd also love to see more realistic dialogue. Take Gantz, for example. They swear like mad in that anime, but that's exactly how I would talk in the situations that those characters are in.
Another FLCL-esque anime would rock as well. |

| I'd like to see more anime where the main character has some type of identity crisis. I figure it turns out well for most Square-Enix games, why not in anime where you can develop characters even more. |

true, very true. and it would be more interesting, in my opinion anyway, to make the main character a bad guy. have him act all nice but with split personality like hikari from this ugly and beautiful world, which btw is an awesome show. then have the main guy turn evil and stay evil. also anime with two or more main characters with equal important roles but not like a senshi thing where there's like five or nine cause in the end the only way to manage that is to have a leader and it would contradict the point.

I like a drama-like anime
with a nice plot (and graphics if possible).

i would like more killings and fightings in anime
the best example would be Elfen Lied, with gruelsome killings like taking a person's heart out instead of normal stabbing through the chest.
i would also like to see more anime with a good plot and animation or else they would bore me to death.
