About the anime series named Kanon!

Hi! I'm new here so don't be mad at me if I'm not supposed to post this kind of stuff here.
Okey, so here I go =p
Yesterday I watchted Kanon. I when the last episode ended I felt TOTALLY lost Sad

at some point in the series I got lost for some reason. I am serious when I'm telling you this, but I did'nt sleep very well =p hehe. I'm afraid of posting what I don't understand, cos I'll probably spoil something for others that have'nt seen it yet. But if someone can be so kind and PM me? Maybe with a link on where to find an explanation to the series?....etc. Any replies are appriciated Smile

Well nothing to do with the post that you wrote since I haven't seen it. Just wanted to say welcome to anime-source forum and hope you enjoy your stay. You should read the FAQ to save yourself from trouble later on. And when you write a post there is a "spoil" button you can click on so you can write about all those thing you didn't understand and spoil things.

Okey, so here is the stuff I did'nt understand, and I guess it'll be quite a list :p: First of all I want to tell you that I got lost when Ayu just dissappear in the woods, in front of Yuuichi. Also I did'nt understand when Ayu makes her last wish ("Forget about me"). When Nayuki kisses Yuuichi I tought that they would be together. But then she tell Yuuichi about a person waiting for him at the hospital. When that is Ayu I get lost...again:( One other thing tho. Yuuichi got this red hair thingy at his place (don't know the english word for it atm :p), and Ayu is wearing it when they're meeting...why is that? I am TOTALLY lost :p hehe
You can laugh all you want :p but I know I'm not the only one :p hehe

This isn't a laughing matter! I was initially confused at the ending as well. I actually understood its ending after watching similar themed anime series (or manga).

Mind you, Kanon was one of the first series I watched, so I may or may not be "wrong", but this is my perspective
In the end, they point out to you that Ayu is in the hospital, possibly because she fell into a coma. In most series, when a person is unconcious, their "spirit" wanders elsewhere. So, what Yuichi saw was Ayu's spirit. Ayu's spirit prefered to be with Yuichi and so she didn't regain consciousness in the end, her "moment of realization" which I forgot what it was... something about a buried jar? I don't remember. I'm not sure about a "red hair" thingy. Do you mean a red ribbon?

Have you watched Midori no Hibi? I think you'll like that anime (just because...)

Aaah maaan! That's just the biggest spoiler without me realising it!!! =p
And the glass you aren't sure about is the one buried at their "school" with an angel inside. The one with 3 wishes. Remember? But why did Ayu wish that Yuuichi would forget about her? So it's what I tought? She had been in coma for 7 years, after she fell down from the three? And that's what "happend" so that Yuuichi stopped visiting this town until the series takes place?
How in hell could I know that her spirit where hanging aroud in town Rolling Eyes
