The Sharingan can make the terror effect as well since he doesn't have to torture you. He could just make you die MANY MANY MANY times within 72 hours.
Another of the Sharingan's abilities is seeing through illusions. So any tricks are ignored. I'm not sure if the terror effect counts or not, if it does, the Ryuukens at another disadvantage.
The Sharingan cannot see the future; instead, it uses a series of steps to create the illusion that the ninja can foresee the future, making his opponent think so. |

yea i agree sharingans is better and when it gets to itz highest lvl in sharingan it can send the opponents screaming in fear haha |

| Both are good abilities like all of you stated above, but for me the Sharingan seems to be better. |

i agrre wit elvin shin even though he is a psycho , itachi with all his ninjitsu can easily defeat him /. |

With great power, comes great responsibilities.
If you have such power, you can't just go psycho. You'd lose because you don't have much control over your moves. You'd just be taking all the hits. |

Ryuugan is good because it can see inte the future ande before time...
But it has a weakness it does the user crazy (berserk) and the user doesn't get stronger or somthing..
But the Sharingan Can copy and the users Genjutsu Ninjutsu and stronger.
If the user of Sharingan hava completely mastered the technic <
(wrong spelled i guess) THen the user is much stronger AND Copy perfekt then it should maybe able too copy Ryuugan users all movement..
The Sharingan should be able too beat the Ryuugan user quite easy too..
If the sharingan user can the Mangekyu Sharingan too it would be
piece of cake |

No doubt about that. The ability to use Mangekou Sharingan and copying moves is just great. Seeing the future won't have much effect on a guy who can see moves as well. |

id go with sharingan what u guys said above is true....but sharingan has a weak point too you know...the user can't use it longer than their limit, i dont recall ryuugan having a limit like that. but sharingan would probably win in less than 3 min  |

| The sharingan users also play some unpredictable mind tricks as well. You can't actually tell when they're going to think since they change their minds a lot. |

| Sharingan is definitely stronger. That eye has the ability to hypnotise at close range. |

| In Naruto, they don't go into detail how the Shariggan predicts the movements. Also the Ryuugan does seem to make someone stronger. I mean when the brother had it, he was beating everyone up. Also the Ryuugan doesn't just see into the future but the past too. So the person with the Ryuugan can see all the moves the other person knows and can practice them or even figure out any flaws behind the person's combat style or moves. |
