Sparring is more of the lines of legitimate fighting as in there are rules such as martial arts fighting.
Don't think dirty fights count as well, but we'll just count this thread as fights overall. |

Sparring is more of the lines of honorable fighting. You're not fighting in anger so it's a whole different stand point based on concepts. |

I can't believe I miss out this thread... ahem... yea, I love Fighting... but most of the time I got my ass kicked... I was kicked pretty hard in my previous State Turnament that I wouldn't want to remember. Well, I love fighting simply as stress control... not that I look for it but I seldom turns down challenger.
Ahem... I am not that all great and still got more to learn so fighting stronger opponents and got my ass kick is the thing I love the most.
Nothing beats the fair fight between man. No weapons allowed and we'll wait for opponent to pick themself up after either each battler falls. I miss the good old days, but due to examinations i have been idling and rather rusty...
Last 2 years is my worst experience in turnament... ^^ although I won Bronze medal at State Level but was knock unconcious in the semi-final... hahaha... end up in Hospital... ^^

Oh wow that must be a crazy knock out. You still did pretty good in the tournament though.
When I was in karate, I was one of the low division belts like yellow-orange belt and usually lost in first round. |

I've never officially done karate but I have sparred with ppl who have and I have more than held my own and I even won a couple. I guess when your a born fighter it doesnt matter Lol. Ironically though I am a passivist  |

Freestyle fighting and Martial Art fighting is a whole different story. When officially sparring there are rules as to where you hit and how you hit while freestyle is hitting freely and doing anything. |

| i dont like fighting. ive only gotten into a fight a few times (despite being at an all boys school - my school is really passive actually) and only because somebody was bullying me or my friends/brother. ive snapped once or twice because i was in a bad mood but luckily never degenerated into a full blown fight. |

Seems like a lot of you people are anti-violent most of the time. Unfortunately, theres always fights going on around here. I wish I lived in a peaceful neighbourhood... I've been fighting all my life |
