Does anyone like the movie Dune? Either the original with Sting in the cast or the new one the scifi channel put out. Just curious.

I haven't seen the original, but my physics told the class to watch the Dune on the sci-fi channel and write a paper on it for extra credit, it was a pretty good movie.

I've never played the game but I liked both movies. I know the author prefered Sci-fi's version better. Actually I'd like to take different parts from both and mix them up.

Erh, well I kinda liked the film (Only saw the one by David Lynch).
Maybe coz it was somehow close to the book, but I must say it wud have been nice with better FX ^^ |

Yeah, I liked the book as well but I've only read that one. There's a whole series out there I haven't checked out yet. Guess I so like Dune that I haven't wanted to move on.
