depends on the amount and their reason, the worst reason i had was this lady sed she got mugged by some thugs and wanted to call the police, funny thing was, the police station was just a block away and it was a huge police station too. in the end i just gave her money, i will just give them the money coz i would like to think that there would be some1 that would help me out if i was in a tough situation.

I would, but the max i would give them is like $3 or $4... i dont like giving out notes.. lol... im kinda stingy on money since every $1 counts for something. Like you live in Sydney like me... i reckon things are getting too expensive (eg. fuel $_$)

Unless the person can give me a good reson why I would give that person money I wouldn't give them money. Also depends on how much, if we're talking example like homeless people in the subway then yeah I might give them money depending on how much I have but not that much maybe 20kr = 2-3 dollars.

whoa, anyway, i guess its over now, off the subject,i would not give homeless people money, becuase theyd just probably byu more alchohol, and shit like that. i live in san francisco, there are tons of homeless people, and the two or three dollars you give them, wont give them job training...

yea but if i was rich like a celeb. i would give homeless ppl like 200 bucks each. but i would make sure he/she wouldn't waste it. i think it's really stupid how ppl with a sh** load of money doesn't put it to good use...ok except opera..lol. but u know wat i mean right? like go out and help ppl, instead of just saying "o well i have an organization for the poor and blah blah blah"...like they really do any of that themselves.

no, because even if you gave them a meal, after that they would go on being homeless, and end up starving again. if i was rich, id make a homeless shelter. i kno wone program they had goign on in san francisco (dont now if its stil ther) was theyd take all the homeless, and nurse them back to health, give them drug rehab and all that,then lend them some money for a place to stay. the prolem was, it would take years for them to pay the city back, and there are so many omeless peole, it just wasnt making a dent, there wasnt even a noticible difference...

I wouldn't be bothered to give homeless people money... I don't want to help feed their addiction to either alcohol or drugs cause that doesn't do any good for anyone. The only time I'll spare some money is if they need money for a bus ticket... but in that case I go buy the bus ticket and give them that... that way I know for sure what they're going to use it for.

me tthat if i give them money .. they'll use it on drugs soo its bad

and they tell me if i want to give them somting .. give them food lol

I won't give it since I have seen so many homeless going to liquor stores.

During elementary school, I lived across a park. In one corner is a bench area with portapotties. All the homeless people gather there. Across the street is my elementary school and a liquor store. I used to see hobos going in there from the park all the time.

Now I'm starting to see this so often again now because there are so many homeless people at my university!
