Anyway, manga hasn't really helped me aside from changing my viewpoints when it comes to some question of life. Berserk is definitely a huge influence for me, as Kentaro Miura puts a lot of thoughts into the issues with both the characters and the plot. Fate is one of the bigger themes for Berserk, and it also deals with some other big factors such as religion in it as well.

To sum up a rather crappy post, manga has influenced me somewhat.

Manga kind of helps me. 1: an escape from reality, 2:FUNNY 3: passes time 4: actually does use some real fact, so I can kind of learn stuff, like new vocabulary, and I spose the best 5: helps me think about different situations, increasing my imagination and creativity. ^^; Besides that, I get REALLY bored when I don't have good book around, manga or real! I'm a book worm.

manga and anime is always something good to know, because a lot more people are into it than will admit it; however, if you come out and say it first, those people are most likely to use this common bond to open up to you. This is a great thing for someone who works at a bookstore, so your boss really lucked out.

Well, I guess I'm starting to pick up on Japanese culture. Manga probably hasn't helped me as much as my neighborhood (sp?) book store. They got RICH off of all the manga I bought. -_- I used my lunch money to buy manga instead of eating.

1)I get to learn new word
2)I get to learn new moves(from naruto(1000 years of pain))
3)I get to learn how to draw
4)I get to quote from manga
5)I get to know about anime
6)I can use my free time by reading manga

well for me it is preety usefull
not only to escape from the reality
release some stressness from my head
also to learn something new
for example:
you could learn about japanese language
you could learn more about bread(yakitate:japan)
-I learn about the types of bread

not only that
it is also an atractive way to study(for those who relize that they learn by reading it)

by reading it you could find something interesting and find it in the internet

but of course most people would not go that far
but it is preety useful for me at least
