manga u like better than the anime....

I think mangas are a lot like books. Usually when they get turned into movies/series they end up not being as good as the original works and they're often changed. So yeah, mangas all he way (but I do still watch anime, don't get me wrong).

You know I actually liked Mai Hime the Anime better then the manga, but then again i haven't finished watching it but so far it's better... Very Happy

I think the Ranma 1/2 manga was better than the anime, though I haven't gotten to see much of the anime.

Hellsing manga was WAY better than the anime, and so some extent I even liked Berserk more as manga..just my 2 cents.

For Chrno Crusade, I like the manga (what I've read so far) better than the anime.

drawings ha man both got great points. manga = pen on paper just like it started. and some anime is done with some amazing original cartoon work. frame by frame drawings...man amazing.

but i think it'll fall into the reading category. it's just much more immersive in my opinion to read something. it's cause even if you have the drawing in front of you, you still can get your imagination into it when reading. watching = watching. <<<there should be more points said for watching but i'm tired and i don't wanna hahaha. k see ya!

and i like the anime of berserk better than the manga. the manga is wonderful we all know! that kind of art is amazing. and the anime is kinda lacking but i just seem to enjoy it more. well that's just an opinion from an old man. k see ya again!

OMG ichigo 100% anime butchered that god damn story...
i usually just read the mangas but i liked to see the animation on some of the mangas i like but horrible!

i agree mangas are better!

but some animes are not that bad. naruto anime usually sticks to the story almost completely except for the fillers of course but don't really affect the main plot.
animes are good when they just stick to what was on paper first Razz

Man, the anime kill the beauty of the story thougth the anime managed to placed 5th place in official best anime of 2005 poll.

Man, there's a lot... to keep it simple with just five of them:

Berserk
Hellsing
Naruto
Rurouni Kenshin
Trigun*

I marked Trigun simply because the only aspect that I like better of the manga over the anime are the depth of the villians - the Gung-Ho Guns. Otherwise it would be equal to me for both the anime and the manga.

but i do like the animes that stick strictly to the manga story
just cus i like the story and i like to see them actually moving about
but still ichigo 100% anime die!

Yea, I loved the ending to ranma 1/2 manga. I was sad when I finished it. I believe the best part about mangas is that there are no filler episodes.. or at least none in the mangas I read.
