any news on when the anime will follow the manga again?

The anime is supposed to start following manga content again in February 2007. Supposedly. This is also supposed to include the Kakashi Gaiden story. No promises, though.

It actually seems pretty likely to me that the filler will end soon. If you watch carefully in the current ending, Naruto's outfit changes for a brief moment (towards the end, when it pans up from his side while he's running); perhaps that's an indication that the time jump is going to occur soon.

I know for a fact that the atasuke end up attacking Gara to take Shukaku from him

I hope this is not the case because that would mean they skiped Kakashi Gaiden.

Ah I see, I stoped watching fillers about 12 episodes ago. Like I said I hope it's not because I really wanted to see kakashi Gaiden. So thanks on the heads up. I guees that means another 3 or 4 weeks of no Naruto foer me.
