Kawaii anime characters

You all know what I'm talking about... those characters that have something they do or say that just makes you smile and go "Aaaaawwwwwwww!!!!!", maybe even with your hands on your cheeks (stereotypical, yes, but some people have to do that if there is a stereotype).
Just give me the character name and anime the character is in, plus what about the character makes them embody "kawaii"-ness. Remember, the characters can be guys, too, if you really think they are like that.
For example, I think that the following fit this image:
Shinobu, Love Hina;
That little boy, Midori no Hibi;
Aoi-chan, Aoi Yori Aoshi;
Chii, Chobits.
That's all I can think of for now; you get the idea.

Guys... remember, this is not just about looks... this is a lot more about character and personality. I'm not looking for a list of cute-looking characters... I want personalities!
