i like old school rock, like Metallica and Queen but not any of these new rock. not a really big punk fan. I like to listen to the Slipknot type of rock music.

how about stuff like Hendrix, the doors and pink floyd? Psychedelica and space rock or bluesy type stuff?
I cant stand Emo and would never never call it punk. although im not a big punk fan either id recommend the Clash, the Pixies and Sonic Youth as bands with a punk related sound.
Id also recommend post-rock bands for those with longer attention spans ie Godspeed You and Mogwai
And lastly, some of the indie pop/rock out there isnt bad. you live in sydney right? tune into triple J (105.7) or Fbi (94.5) for music.

i like hendrix alot but i dont really listen to alot of psychadelic rock, i dont really like triple j and havent heard of the other station. guess it wouldnt hurt to try something different.

If you're asking favours from us A-S members, I think you "outta" (which is the wrong spelling btw) be nicer. You have plenty of answers and replies, people took their time and made an effort to help you but you don't even give a thanks.

Besides, "woo hoo" is just a yell-out call. There are numerous songs with that. I think I know what you're talking about, but I don't know who sings it.

My point is, if you're looking for something and are asking others for help. At least say thankyou.
