in the anime Bleach, the main charcters name is Ichgio. and in Gundam Seed Destiny, there is a guy named Yuna. sometimes a name could be for both male and female but it might sound better for either a male than a female or a female than a male.
my favortive would be Gaara... dont know the reason but he is my favorite charcter in Naruto.

yeah, some names are naturally associated with a certain gender, i think that makes it confusing sometimes.

inchigo in bleach does not mean strawberry....'ichi' mean one, and 'go' in that case means protect or care.
lol and gaara (我愛羅):
ga= i
a= love (normally ai, but it sounds like 'a' when you say it)
ra= another word for demon
the name fits him perfectly.
