It wasn't eight. It was between 3 and 4 years, actually. What happened in between is covered in some books, and the actual story of their engagement appears in the courtship of princess leia, which is an ok book, but certainly not the best around.

I think that the original trilogy was better even though the acting and special effects were bad because young Anakin just pissed me off...A LOT
His turn to the dark side seemed REALLY forced and badly developed.
By the way, Snow troopers(you know, the ones on Hoth) are cooler than Storm troopers. But Ewoks are the coolest of them all. |

Hell yeah! I like the uniforms a lot better too. They are completely featureless and for thm it actually makes sense to have an all-white uniform. Besides, they werent defeated by a bunch of stuffed animals, like their storm trooper buddies. That is definitely a plus.

yes.. starwars is the best scifi movie ever... my last girlfriend never seen a single starwars movie in her life... i was so shocked.. i never realized that there were actually people who never seen it.. i figured it was a movie that everyone has seen at least once you know? so weird

i have watched all six episodes straight about a month ago... hehehe.. still enjoyed it... the ewoks owns all.. hahaha... my brothers have this miniature game set (anyone know this???) kinda like dungeons and dragons with starwars characters from the movie and books... and out of sheer luck of the draw an ewok owned a jedi in one game my brothers played in... hahaha...
