Has anyone here read Star Wars books?
I like Aaron Allston's work. They're funny books, I reccomend them. They'd make an awesome anime series, as a matter of fact.

Nothing to be ashamed of. Thanx for the heads-up. I was going to buy it, but I guess now it can wait until I can actually spare the money. I don't usually mind straining my finances over a book, but it had better be a god one. _________________

C3p0 Is so cute!!
Why do spaceships have wings if there is no air in space?
Sorry....just curious why X-wings are named X-wings
Why not buffalo wings? _________________ [img:309:200:9b3695521e]http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8583/dobedobedojs0.jpg[/img:9b3695521e] |

....
Of all the posts pyroecca has written, this one must take the cake for the most pointles...
They're not called buffalo wings because instead of laser shots they would squirt sauce and be highly edible. Therefore, they'd be harmless. Not the point of a weapon of war.
As to why spaceships have wings... Well, they would need them if they ever enter a planet again, becaue there IS air there. If they don't enter atmosphere they are pointless. A more baffling question would have been "if there is no air in space, why is there sound?" the answer is: go figure. In my opinion just seeing ships fly around shooting at each other with no sound is simply less exciting.
72391: So it's that bad? Ok, I'll read it in a library first, and buy it ony if I'm interested. So far I've only got one SW book I've hated but I still regret buying it. I could have got something else instead. _________________
