English music or Japanese Music?

I've completely abandoned the American music scene ever since I got into anime, and began to be a follower of J-music of pop and rock genres. There would probably be more, but I can only get my hands on so many styles of music. I would say that about 95% of my music on my comp is J-music. I have over 1100 songs on my playlist.

I still do listen to many genres of American music ranging from middle to late 90's to early 2000s. If I happen to hear a good English song, then I'm going to listen to it, and still enjoy the bands of my past. However, my interest is in J-music.

hurmm it depends on the song but then most of the songs that i love to hear are mostly japanese Rolling Eyes

WOW. i just listened to some of Mikuni Shimokawa's music. i agree with Uruz-7 about her voice being good.
but anyways. i have my taste for english music for reasons of being able to sing to, but as for listening i on the most part definately prefer japonese music.

hey common guys, japanese music is good but, wtf i dont understand half the words. is that wat makes you guys like it? cuz there arent lyrics to ruin the good song? lyrics you dont understand i mean. american music is better by far, our artists have gone much farther in theh musical realm than japanese, i mean, WE INVENTED ROCK

i listen to english music almost all da time..but i find japanese music pretty nice and it sounds sooo good. werdo me Razz

Until recently, my playlist was an even mixture of both english and japanese. A friend of mine just have me a CD with huge amounts of english music so i'm looking into those right now. So as of this moment, I am more into english music then japanese.

yup the japanese music are great... I enjoy thier music very much... english are good too but japanese was better...

I only have japanese songs in my pc so I dont listen to english music very much...

i usually like both English and Japanese (including other language)
but if i have to chose between those two i think Japanese is better.
That sometime make my friends think i'm weir listen to Japanese music.
But i don't care anyway... Confused

I strted to like japanese music since I was 8 and sfter that I everytime before a show starts I usually ready my cassette radio and order whoever is in the home to KEEP QUIET!!! I'M RECORDING!!!
And I had never listened to ANY english music in all my life...it just doesn't click to me. it bores me...

I managed to fill at least 6 casstte tapes of Anime songs that has not been heard or shown here in the US (well some of them, since theyalready reached the US anyway).
