| The end of FFX was saddening since Yuna and Tidus fell in love, but it turns out that Tidus was just a dream that turned real until Sin was defeated. So basically he killed himself, yet before he faded away, he hugged Yuna with a body that didn't exist. |

OKAY there... *slowly backs away from ikarisama*
game = pixels
pixels = no emotions
no emotions = you shouldnt cry about it..
well actually.. ffx's ending wasnt even that sad, probably because i beat ffx2 in a week after and tidus came back so.. -___- |
if games are only pixels maybe you should play at the first place, otherwise it just a waste of time and money, or play something with no story lines. |
o_o, you took me abit seriously.. what i meant was, its just a game, crying over it is abit.. how should we put it, exaggerated? .. if you actually cried about it then thats.. jsut you, but yeah. what the hell are you going to do when something sad happens to you in real life? .. cry about it? and then cry about the next thing that happens to you..? crying doesn't really work out imo.. _________________ Mr. Offtopic o_o

People cry from the idea of it being sad just like how some people cry from reading a sad book.
Crying simply shows depression or immense happiness.
I don't think crying would be exaggerating since some people are sensitive in these areas. |

Emotions let you know you are alive...
Now as far as the FFX ending goes, yes, it was very sad. Nothing like star crossed lovers to bring tears to one's eyes. And it was somewhat unfair to watch Yuna fall to the ground trying to embrace the dissapearing Tidus. Yes that was all very emotional.
And yes, he came back at the end of FFX-2. But you have to understand that most of us played this game when it came out which was over a year before FFX-2 was released AND most of us didn't even think that sequel would even be made (given the history of past FF stories). So the FFX ending was supposed to be the REAL ending (I still prefer the FFX ending).
Alas, nothing compares to the death of Aeris. DAMN YOU SEPHIROTH!!! Watching Yuffie (of all people, the stuck up, greedy, childish, selfish one) just simply break down and cry was really sad for me. Yes her body is insanely pixelated compared to Yuna, but at the time that was the defining sad moment of Final Fantasies. Ahhh, I have digressed... |

Of course It was sad when Tidus had to leave.Tidus knew that he had to dissapear and didnt want to tell Yuna. The ending speech was sad tooo.
But it really hurt me more when Aeris had to die.NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!It still hurts me even when I play the game again and see her in other games like Kingdom Hearts and in FF7 Advent children
I misssssss Aeris!!!!!!!! _________________ In the darkest shadow,there will always be a light to guide you. |

| I felt sad, but I certainly didn't cry. I felt sad for Yuna, and not Tidus, because I don't like him from the start. |

| Sure it was sad, but it felt too unrealistic when he jumped off the ship. The departing could have been better, that is all that I have to say. |

| Yeah i cried at the end of FFX and I'm not afraid to admit it. The reason I cried is different from most though. The reason I cried was because I was afraid the game was going to end in that dispicably bad way. Really I know its hard to work out an ending but the way the did it was just awful. |

Auron's disappearance/quasi-death gave me some pangs in my heart. Auron was one of the few reasons why I like FFX. Oh Auron, will you ever comeback....oh wait he's in Kingdom Hearts 2: hahahahahahahaha _________________ Go Gitaroo-Man, go fight the mighty piano ships with your mighty Guitar AXE! |
