Anybody playing or played any korean MMOGs out there? I really wanted to play korean MMOGs but i simply cant because they require this SSN for registration.. I heard from my friends (and i also saw the screenies for myself) that korean games are really good.. so those who had some experience playing korean games, will you share some insights please? _________________
yea, i've played ragnarok and rose. they're not bad, pretty decent. (well addicting if you can play w/ a group of friends) after a while though, it started to get kinda boring
yeah ragnarok and rose online are the staple korean games. And sure they get a little boring after a while, but isnt every other game like that. If you wanna try something cool though, try out Gunz, it like a FPS but it has a sorta upgrade sytem to it. It's cool

I've played Nexus, the kingdom of the winds. The graphic really simple and the characters are cute.
It's about four Gods (Ju Jak, Chung Ryong, Baek Ho, Hyun Moo) that remind me to Japanese four Gods (Suzaku, Shinrei, Byakko, Genbu). You start as a peasant, then someone would teach you how to interactive with the game and gain levels. At certain level you can :
- Enter different dungeon with higher-level monsters
- Choose to become Mage, Warrior, Rogue or Poet (healer) and gain their magic / skill
- Take a Quest
- Get married (and divorced)
- Choose a sub path (take different magic / skill)
- Create a clan and kill other players that become enemy of your clan
- Attack and own a castle
The good thing about this game is how players interactive each other. In battle with monsters, you can create a group and you can whisper so other player outside the group can't see it. This game even has a bulletin board to post emails, get news, tips and community forums.
This game cuteness is you can change your characters expression, there are surprised, cry, laugh, bored, teasing, embarrassed, angry, wink, bow, kiss and so on.
If you want to play this game's trial, check out this site :
http://www.nexustk.com
Note : There is law, police and jail in this game, so don't try to break the law (stealing, use XXX words, block a way, insulting other player or kill a monster that almost die by other player to get XP) _________________ Dhuran ! Load Silver Cartridges ! ... Fire !

No, in the News is Nexus client alpha. It's another server that play another Nexus with new features. Just download the game and install it to your computer, then you'll be able to play the game. Read the instructions before you proceed. The trial is about 10 days. When you create new character, you'll be asked who's invite you, just type either "SweetTux", "Cliver", "Sagaar", "Origin", "Cassie" or some random character in Game Moment in the News. I'm not sure if this game can get your interest but it's worth trying. Enjoy!
Oh almost forgot, you can ride a horse (just plain horse, not monster horse) and there's some horserace event too. Also you can buy a house so you can store your item safely. _________________ Dhuran ! Load Silver Cartridges ! ... Fire !
I played RO for a while, but I usually end up by myself, and on that game, soloing takes forever to level, so I just kinda stopped sinking money into it.
I tried gunz, but I got the dreaded agent error, and it turns out I have one of the routers that just won't work with it, so I can't play T.T _________________ The depressing thing about tennis is no matter how good I get, I'll never be better than a wall.
