Tales of Legendia

I believe he would be referring to Tales of Legendia. I have also finished the game already, and the game contains a few animated movies, which are quite high quality. They really contribute well to the game too, which was nice to see. He also happened to mention that because last I checked, this was a Tales of Legendia thread right?

The reason I think people don't really like the main character for Tales of Legendia is because they switched from the traditional sword-wielding main character to a fist-user. Granted I had my dislikes about it early on in the game, but towards the later half of the game, it was a refreshing change. The way this game was able to utilize down attacks and throws provided a new element to the gameplay (even though it wasn't all that big of a change).

As for the story, I didn't really like it all that much. A lot of the story seemed predictable (what the characters were going to do). I didn't like the female lead at all with her whiny voice. I preferred Chloe who had much more backbone and better character design.
