Question: vodka's supposed to have no flavor or smell, right? Unless you add something to it.
So, what exactly is the difference between a low quality vodka and a high quality vodka other than the price if not for the flavor/scent? Is it all about how potent it is? Smooth going down? Hell, what is it? |
Vodka does have a very unique taste and smell, its just that its very pungent
Bad quality vodka will not have been refined properly, so it will have harmful chemicals, maybe even left over carcinogens in it. I recently heard that the Russian state has privatised its Vodka industry to prevent the production of low grade vodka, as many people have died rfom drinking too much of it
But you've got to see the funny side: Only the Russians would privatise their vodka industry |

| When watching soccer, draft Guinness is the best. Its like a ritual to all soccer fans because Guinness is just their kind of beer, I don't know why. I also like how Guinness tastes. |

Well first of all its the taste. Low quality vodkas have very strong taste of alcohol. Though you can mix it with juice or something it still has bad taste.
Its all about hangovers. When you buy low quality vodka you will get nice hangover for sure. It is because it hasn't refined properly as Spirit already said.
hmm.. drinks i like. Well if we wana get wasted, we drink vodka. If we are watching football etc. we drink beer. I prefer Heineken but also some estonian beers are good so it depends. I also enjoy Gordon and Beefeater gin and some rumms but we drink those usually when we are chilling in a bar or club. |

Another difference between low quality and high quality vodka is the aftertaste. For low quality vodka when you drink it it leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth, while the hq vodka does not. Also if you drink the hq vodka you are less likely to have a hangover when compared to drinking same quanitity of lq vodka.
My favorite drink is Grey goose |

That may be true. But few people who claim to be experts in alcoholic beverages drink vodka straight. It is generally mixed in with another liquor. After that, cheap vodka tastes exactly the same as high quality. I don't know about the hangover fact though. I guess this sort of information is strange coming from a guy who has a little puppy for an avatar. |

Actually there is a lot of difference in the after taste of cheap or expensive vodka that's been mixed. The cheap vodka has many more impurities and a god awful taste to it, plus it doesn’t mix into a drink as consistently as the slightly more expensive stuff. This is all based off of experience, so other people will disagree with me (statistically speaking).
My Favorite Drinks
Speed Balls (vodka and red bull)
Bloody Marie
Irish Car Bomb (guiness, Rum, and a shot of baileys irish cream)
Liquid Cocaine (lots of different types of whiskey)
Jack’s Down Home Punch (Yes it is a girl’s drink)
Guiness
Bud
Vodka strait _________________ HCl before H20 makes a big bang |

Ahh, now I completely love Icewine. It tastes so good, but its so expensive and so little. It barely goes around the table once.
------
Based on beer, Budweiser, and Heineken are the best. They go down so smoothe and are the least ass tasting beers in my opinion. |

I hate alcohol. I grew up with a drunken family, so I grew up hating they way alcohol effected people. Then I began to hate the drink in general. Its a narrow point of view, but thats how I feel. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Me... I really don't care about the alchohol as long as it is not beer or everclear.... but I perfer my Tequilla.... In one night over about 5 hours I can drink a fifth by myself... but only if I am not drinking anything else. And I don't like everyclear cause its way to strong for me, plus it makes everything else taste like it and gets me a little sick. _________________ In Darkness does the blood flow and its warmth undisturbing!
