Lol, America doesnt have the freedom of speach. I heard one person in the US said "I think Bush is stupid", and he was visited by the FBI. Ouch.
Whats so wrong about communism? I think its a great idea. Better than capitalism. Communism destroys the poor-rich gap. It allows everyone equal chance at everything, no high or low. In capitalism, there is always the rich who controll the poor, and the richest(FYI, bush and kerry both spend millions of dollars for their campaign.) are the rulers. Capitalism is more closely related to Dictatorship, the only difference being that the dictator changes every 4 years.
What you guys are used to is soviets and their version of communism, which isnt communism at all. They call themselves communist revolutionaries, because they dont want the lowerclass people to find out the truth. _________________

its not like there are only problems with democracy, or communism, there are flaws with every government system. the fact is, in a system of rule, no ones ever going to be happy with someone controlliong a part of their life. _________________ CAIN is MY whore. touch him and die.

| Communism is a great idea on paper, but the fact is that if everyone gets the same things no matter what you do or how hard you work, why would anyone do any work? |

The ideas behind communism are good but, as many have mentioned, they will never succeed in this world because of human nature. Humans are greedy and lazy, that won't change. Most of the people who work hard, do so because it will lead to profits in their personal life.
In communism, if the best doctor in the country makes the same as the worst doctor in a country, then the best doctor will eventually stoop to the worst doctor’s level. Now you have a country full of bad doctors, cops, firefighters, scientists etc.
Until there’s an anti-lazy drug, communism will never succeed. |

hmm
it's sad that money is the sole source of motivation... as u ppl said better doctors won't perform as well if other doctors get the same paid
and... as for the rich getting richer and the poor getting poor in communism... it's probably cuz of corruption
the commies idealism is ruined by these corrupted ppl
*awwww*
the final stage of commies revolution sounds wonderful tho... (as unlikely as i may be)... --> how the gov't will cease to exist thus create a rank/status-less society |

Unfortunately, Communism doesn't have much lasting power in the practical world. All it leads to basically is either an oligarchy or dictatorship. There is no incentive for those in the government to serve the people, except for their own well meaning intentions, which unfortunately, isn't enough in the real world. There has to be incentive for progress, which is often created in these Communist countries, by tyranny and oppression. The basic concept is pretty nice and all, but the execution of it in the real world is far different from theory.
That said, there's always socialism. It's no surprise that many nations (Scandinavian countries for instance) who utilize socialist policies often enjoy very high standards of living. Also very high unemployment rates as well unfortunately. Once again, back to the incentive portion of the real world. |

Still stuck in the hell known as High School.
Another thing to add about Communism. The modern version of that ideology really came into place during the Industrial Revolution when the workers' rights were being abused and government refused to step in. What came about as a way to protect the common people from oppression, really isn't valid anymore. There are measures now to protect the rights of the middle and lower class (at least in the developed nations.) |
