Really short: Elf Princes Rane
You have to see it. It is sooooo insane. It's even better subitled.

Poi Poi Poemi is also right up there.

"Now and Then, Here and There", short but sweet. Very thought-provoking, and definitely not for kids. The boy, Shu(?) kinda reminds me of "Conan, the Boy in Future". He even has the same stick as his weapon.

Can't help it but fell in love with the movie verision of Yume de Aetara.

16 episodes, 3OVAs, the OVAs is like a movie but still very very great.
Animation and voice and sound isn't the most best of it's kind, yet, I can't help to love it haha.

Comedy/Romance animé (only animé I watch besides Bleach and Naruto.)
And it's everyone can watch it^without hestitating. Very Happy
