Hehe, the Oh My Goddess was the first full anime series I owned, because my friend gave me his CDs....

Most people would say FLCL, but I didn't like the anime AT ALL.

My personal favourite shorties are Elfen Lied (for sure), Rizelmine (hilarious!), Gravitation, Pretear, and I'm going to sneak Spiral (yes I know it has 25 episodes).

And as for movies: Tonari no Totoro, Castle in the Sky

And the "so-so"s: Chobits, FMP? Fumoffu, Nanaka 6/17, Ultra Maniac TV, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Strawberry Eggs, Yami no Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, 2x2=shinobuden, Loveless, Lovely Eyepatch Ninja girl Jubei, and Yami no Matsuei

I'm surprised that only one person mentioned Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (I didn't like it, but it's a popular series).

Akane Maniax is pretty good too, too bad the last part isn't out yet.

Short Series... And then they name something that is 26 episodes. I find that amazing. Either they don't know how to follow instructions, or the worse option is that they're used to series dragging on and on forever.

FLCL is my favourite, hands down.

I don't think I have seen short anime. I'd like to say instead movies.
For exaple Oh! My goddess OAV (4 episodes + movie) is quite enjoyable...
I'd like to see Elfen Lied as soon as I find out a way to catch it!
