If a one-shot is considered a short anime, then my all-time favorite would be ~ Plastc Little!
I improved my skills as an illustrator while studying this anime. Also, I had my first anime crush from this anime.  |

Eh 26 eps is NOT considered short!!!!
Short would be like 12-14.
Based on MY criteria, it would be the 14-episode Kimi ga Nozumu Eien.

| Evangelion (at 24 episodes, I believe) and the Ichigo 100% (the manga was better, but the anime just was nifty) would have to be mine. |

My favourite short animes are Love Hina and Fruits Basket. The other ones I am watching are mostly long one. Mahou Sensei Negima is also nice but I am not really sure how many episodes it really has.
