What is your favorite short anime of all times?

A short anime that I really like is FLCL. Woah man, 6 whole episodes Shocked

But it's real funny, and the music is awsome.

KARAS its the best animationi have watched 6 episode only but now only come out until episode 3... anyone know if they are still coming out?

Like a lot of people above I'm going to have to say FLCL and contrary to a lot of people on the board I'd also say .hack which I would characterize as short.

For under 2 digits: Le portrait de petit cossette (3 OAVs) because it was beautiful, haunting, and damn creepy.

For over 2 digits but under standard 26: Haibane renmei (gorgeous and quiet), Kino's Journey (quiet and moderate) and Elfen Lied (violent and sad)

beck and champloo, i believe that they are both around 26 episodes, but comparing to the other shows that i watch (ippo, prince of tennis, inuyasha, one piece, hikaru no go...) i would consider them short.... lol Very Happy

short ones eh.. hmmm hanstuki is the most recent one i watched and i just love that series... nothing out of worldly about it but gives you that nice feeling... Elfen Lied is also a good one for those blood and gore kicks you might be having.. Very Happy

lol, and no, despite my constant reiteration that it is awesome, I'm not a raging serial killer.....ahem, back on topic. All my favorite animes, save for Berserk, just happened to be "short" ones; among them Elfen Lied, KGNE, and Rozen Maiden.

Full Metal Panic : Fumoffu
One of the funniest I have ever seen. The main characters are a perfect combo and it's funny to watch how Sousuke(sp?) is always pure military in every situation.
