see, would you guys expect the ending with shinn and kira to b an end to the current characters of gundam seed? its sort of like the ending that never happened, or something thatll just leave it as that... you know ohw most anime series always ahve an ending which leaves you wanting to know what finally happens? maybe the disucssion at the end, sorta represents that, and so they can not make another gundam seed.... ORRRRRR maybe that was just a connection with a new season where shinn becomes like how kira is now and it all goes in a circle again....... ideas?
Well, I simply wanted either a well planned third series, or a decent at best third series without the main characters from the two earlier instalments, though I doubt the producers really had that much guts to risk the popularity of the show with the main characters....
And the high possibility of Lacus being the Chairwoman of PLANT also paves a way for more discussion, as well as unexplained things like:
Newtype flashes. How did Kira get them?
How did Mwu/Neo survive the Lohengrin blast?
Talia's son. Who is he?

Just watched the Plus Phase... I honestly believe they saved the series for me with this followup... I thought the series turned to crap about half way and was disapointed with almost every aspect of it... The ending wasn't any better to me and I ended up losing faith in the concept of the show... But the new ending (although the overall plot premise wasn't changed) manages to renew my faith in the series and ups my expectations and anticipation of the next sequel...
I originally had a lot of issues with Shinn's character from the original ending... His character is made to be so shallow in that he isn't able to let go of his past... But the extended sequence at the end where he meets Kira really rounds out his character and he has a chance to evolve as well...
I'm glad they cut out the sequence with Mwu nearly being toasted again... When I saw that the first time around I nearly stopped watching...
Overall I think they tied up a lot of loose ends and finally brought some real justified closure to the series... I can say with delight that I am looking foward to the next sequel... However, I can't help but fear that the sequel will fall short of my expectations... Is there really any more story left to tell in the SEED world??? I really hope for all our sakes that they will pull out something brilliant for this next sequel...

I think Talia's son might be Mwu??? Rey called her mom... Rey = Rau = Mwu??? All that clonning was a little bit hard to follow...
Also, I think they cut out the scene where Mwu gets shot at again... probably since it seemed to tacky... I wonder how many people just banged their heads into the wall when they saw that... That was the most rediculous scene ever...
They're not only related. They're all clones of each other. They kept cloning the same guy over and over. Basically Rey/Mwu la Flaga/Raw le Kreuze are all teh same people.
Hey, people, have you watched SEED and SEED Destiny?
Ok, heres the breakdown, nice and easy, so you can understand:
Rau=Clone of Mwu's dad
Rey=Clone of Rau (and therefore of Mwu's dad too)
Rey calling Talia mom= Babble because he felt nice, cozy and reassured in her arms and never had a mom himself.
That is IT. Plain and simple.
So Rey, Rau and Mwu are NOT the same people. _________________
Personally, I think this series is inferior to its predecessor. I think I may be a bit biased here, but the reason I don't like it as much is because of Shinn Asuka. His attitude really pissed me off. He seems to be an expert in making clouded judgement.
However, the animation is excellent here. All the new gundams are cool as well especially Akatsuki. I think that is the coolest Mobile Suite. The other think that makes this series worth watching is LACUS CLYNE! She is so lovely. I like it the best when she was dressed up in a pink pilot suit.
Overall, still worth watching, but beware of Shinn Asuka's pathetic behaviour.

You ARE biased, and very. A series isn't crap because of one person, and neither is it worth watching because of another single person.
Clouded judgement? If you want a better example, it would be Athrun. He was practically unsure of what he was doing for the first half of the series. Getting into ZAFT, then unable to determine between ZAFT duty and his close ones in ORB...
I won't say anything about overpowered Gundams or whatnot, but how good a series actually is depends on various factors. The plot, the characters' development, the animation, music, storyline....So many more things than just who you like and who you dislike. A few factors may be good, like perhaps the music, but when most of these are really bad...You get the idea.
And yes, Rey, Rau and Mwu are not the same person. They are simply the same type: clones. You could say that Rau and Mwu are 'brothers' in the sense that they were both cloned from Ariga la Flaga, while Rey is simply the genetic 'son' of Rau. I don't know whats been going on in this topic, but i've been reasearching on other forums, lots of rumors say that theres reeeally gonna be a third series called "Gundam Seed Eternity". they tell you what the third season is about, though i don't really care. I feel that they can continue a series for GS but not GSD. And i just watched the 40min special which.... frankly totally SUCKED. just a replay of episode 50 with some scenes added inside, which are mostly reused animation (again). and the ending bit me. Kira shakes Shinn's hand "lets fight together" ........ i expected them to show something with Athrun and Cagalli, but i guess they might want to hold it for the third series if there ever is one. _________________ "Never give up on hope, and hope will never give up on you"

ya i heard aout that. I think that it has been confirmed but i am not sure i remeber where i read that. I think they should drop the seed thing and come up with a new series.
As far as I know gundam Seed eternity is just a rumor floating around. The only quasy-official news I heard were that Sunrise approved a 3rd SEED project but that is all. I don't even think that there is a title for it, and "eternity" may just be a prduction title.. if that. I could well be wrong, but I think that all news about Eternity or the 3rd seed shouldn't be taken at face value until official word is out. _________________

As i always go for direct downloads cuz its faster for me, i have a site called www.animestash.tk. the sight is annoying cuz the whole site is a pop up so if u refresh ur page u go back to the front page, and the quality for that part is really low, like... 90mb? rmvb format. and the most annoying thing is that u have to post at least 5 times in the forums before you can see the download button, so... if your desperate, then there you are _________________ "Never give up on hope, and hope will never give up on you"

If I recall correctly, it was said that the 3rd series might already be in the works...But it doesn't look like it will come out any time soon.

I like the music of Gundam Seed.
I've downloaded a few songs 5 weeks ago and got some from a friend.
I'm pleased with it
And maybe I'll download the serie too
