does anyone know what happened to seed fansub server? i am trying to find their release of GSD extra episode or can anyone reconmend me good site to download this episode?
Umm... I don't think SEED fansubs has done final plus yet, and since it has been a while since the airing I don't know if they'll be doing it at all. The only versions I know of are the one by Hiro and the one by Xero sux (which is now called Xero STILL sux). I think that if you make a search for final plus or gundam seed destiny or something like that in www.torrentspy.com or someplace like that you'll come accross one or both of them. Personally I'm waiting for the haro&tori version, but I know that one will take a long time since they finished the series pretty late. In the meantime I got the Hiro version but I'll be replacing it later because I like to have all my episodes made by the same group. _________________

Gundam seed is the worst anime that i have ever seen in my life.
basically this anime is a combination of all the other gundam series.
get some new ideas plz...dont copy...
the story sucks...the main character whines and crys a lot. Come on...be a man...Also i hate how freedom has the auto targeting bs...after lock on, freedom shoots these rainbow gayness at the enemy which own almost everbody...haha...this anime is so bad that i dont know why people watch it.Another thing that i hate is the seed...its just a very stupid thing to put in.If you are a true fan of gundams, dont watch this plz because you will end up really mad.Watch the old series, thats the way to go. Trust me
sorry if i offended anyone, i just get really mad when people say OH MY GOD, gundam seed is so good! but really, seed just copys everything from other gundam series. seriously kids....watch the old gundam series then talk..

Its true that the series takes basicly all its concpets from the older gundams but in all seriousness i doublt that the new generation of ppl would actually even touch the old series so i see it more as a retellling of the old story with a new kick
Also though he did cry a lot one can not fault him for this when one can see all personal sorrow he has had to deal with a regular person would have prolly just shut down completely imo.
And as for auto targeting heat sigs/radar/id signals/other more advance tech may have been a little cheap but its plausible.

Plz man, if you have any new ideas about how to make Gundam Seed MORE original, share it. If you can't think of any, then don't blame the series for lack of originality. At this stage, it's pretty difficult to think of new things, because there's been so much Gundam series.

But that's character development! I actually quite like how Kira turned from a crybaby from the beginning to a man by the end (or beginning of GSD if you prefer)

Well, that is one valid point. At least the difference in power between Gundam and fodder is smaller in the original. Makes better fights.

Why would it be stupid? That's something not seen from other Gundam series. Originality maybe? [refer to what you said earlier about this series lacking originality ... and think again]

I am a Gundam fan too, and I recommend Gundam Seed along with the original. I especially liked the battles from the middle onwards, friends forced to fight friends (kira vs athrun), former comrades forced to fight each other (Murrue on Archangel vs Natarle [SP? always can't spell her name right] on Dominion)

I think that Gundam Seed is seriously a MUCH better Gundam series than most other that are not based on the original time space. Turn A, G and X are much worse than Seed, and Wing is the only other Gundam series that can come close to Seed at all. I recommend that true Gundam Fans watch all of original (if not all then at least up to the end of Char's Counter-attack. imo F91 isn't that worth watching), Wing and Seed. GSD will really depend on how much you like Seed.

That was a spam post, ZGMF. Don't worry about it. I don't really know if what you say is true, but popular opinion is on your side. I heard that most older series are indeed better than GSD. 8th MS team is the only UC series I've seen, and I do think it is a pretty good series too.

I don't think that was. If it the topic was 'Gundam' in general, I wouldn't even have said that out. Furthermore, the post also consists of the second part, which you have answered to. I was simply pointing out that the title of the thread is 'Gundam Seed Destiny', not 'Gundam' in general. So, yeah.
GSD doesn't really seem to shine much compared to the older series, really, unless you compare the animation, of course. But the main crux of anime is the plot and the storyline, with vital 'spices' such as character development, which I don't see much of in the main characters of GSD. Although I haven't watch too much of the older series like in the UC, I can at least tell who's the main character of the show and who's simply in just because of fan-based opinions. I've got a better one, why not say EVERY Gundam series after the original Mobile Suit Gundam is a copy too? The Sunrise staff is bound run out of ideas at some point when they've already got 13 or more series produced; which in then forces them to reuse some of their old, but still great ideas.

Are you saying that Kira should've acted like some macho-ist hero who punches walls when defeated, shouting,"DAMMIT!!" and goes off to do some training, and come back far stronger than before? C'mon, you're contradicting yourself. That'll be even more of an anime cliche. Killing even more of the 'originality' you spoke of.

While I agree Freedom's repeated Hi-MaT sequences were downright annoying, but rainbow gayness? Wow, you must really hate the show.
The explanation to Freedom owning everyone is that, Freedom runs on a nuclear-powered engine; thus giving it a near infinite amount of energy, as is more powerful than Strike Gundam. Whereas everyone else is, well, operating battery-powered suits, and is far weaker than Freedom.

Like duh, they didn't name it Gundam SEED for nothing, and further given it an acronym, which stands for Superior Evolutionary Element Destined Factor, and further explaining how it works. Or, were you expecting the replace the seed-bursting scene with nuts / trees / heads bursting everytime a character goes SEED mode? Or you'd rather have their hair stand straight up and turn gold ala Super Saiyan mode?

Been there, done that. I liked Gundam SEED, along with the earlier series. But that's my opinion, and not everyone has to like it the way I do. See how opinions work now? Oh, if Gundam SEED lacks originality, then why is the 'seed-burst' and Freedom's 'rainbow gayness' not original? I don't think those appeared in the other series.
By the way, did you create this account name just to spite Gundam SEED?
Guys, Hiro did the fansub for the final plus. With or without the final plus, the ending still sucks.. Seed Destiny look promising when it just started.. But with more recaps.. The show start to bore alot of ppl. The director shld think of something lol.

There's a conclusion between Shin and Kira now, and a conclusion to the story, though it's a pretty bad one.
I agree that recaps were one of the factors that ruined Destiny, since they could've used those episodes to get the story going. Another one, in my opinion, was Kira's huge fanbase in Japan. First they brought him back in Freedom, and gave him Strike Freedom later on, which gave him "Newtype" senses, and further letting him carry out his ideals, while Shin and the Minerva crew got shafted aside as the people on the wrong side of justice.
I believe that if the directors had Kira and Lacus stay in the background, and Athrun remain as a mentor of sorts to Shin, the story would've turned out differently. Well, that's my two cents, no offense to Kira fans ya?

Yup, I agree that Final plus was pretty much only Fukuda attempting to save face. He was more or less sucessful, as FP has met with better acceptance than the original ep50, but a less-mediocre finale doesn't save the buch of clumsy episodes before it. Althoguh a new SEED will probaly feature the same director he'd better not screw up like with Destiny. Right... I can hardly believe I wrote that. He'll probably screw up anyway. Who is up for more stock footage battles and recaps? _________________
