Erm... it does? Where? Just cause Soushi is a dweeb and Kazuki is... well... caring, doesn't mean there's anything remotely yaoi there. Come on, guys, none of you ever seen real friendship before?

No, seriously. I'm not being sarcastic, but can anyone show me a moment that is really yaoi in the series? Or at least a dialogue?

thats it, its not yaoi.. its more of a tint.. like so far the only emotion kazuki has is toward soushi almost no emotion toward the girl who is obiously obsessivly in love with him...

I just finished this series (talk about late), but I must say that it is awesome. So what if the beginning is similar to Eva? It is not the same thing, and it doesn't take too long to start threading its own path. Round of aplause for the Macha design, please: The fafners look cool. The final episode was pretty well done and left enough threads loose for a sequel, although what happens immediately after is pretty easy to infer, I would still have liked to see it. Overall a great show and an impressive finale. This is a good example of how an Anime has to be done.

The only (minor) complaint I have about the last episode is that we didn't get any Kenji-Sakura at the end. I liked them both and was the only relationship really going somewhere besides Michio-Yumiko (and we know how that turned out). We know that the info they have is enough to get Sakura healthy and that she will recover in time, but seeing Sakura get out of bed would have been a good non-intrusive scene. Because it is pretty obvious that Kenji is strong now an extra happy end can't hurt.
