Hyperlink becomes the third person to be a winner for two consecutive weeks. This time he brought to us a great piece of what I think is Ragnarok Online fanart. Keep up the great job!

hmmmm, in all fairness i respect the skill but i didnt really like the first or second pieces from this artist, it just doesnt sit right with me is all. plus there is some distortion in both charatcters and lack of obvious detail that i normally associate with cg art.
Im not trying to put the artist down at all its just not my taste, in that neither are striking in any way 2 me. i think there was alot more impressive entries this week done in traditional media particularly a couple of lead pencil drawings in there, i feel that the art using traditional media is generally over looked and overshadowed by cg art. O course seeing as alot of u mainly use ur computers 4 ur art ur bound to dissagree. |

Very nice work. Probably not as good as the previous one but still pretty good.

Yeah, I agree, those entries were probably better than this week's winner. I am also under the impression that it's pretty much impossible to win with an art piece that's not original no matter how good it is... |

| i mean its not fair that people that hand draw the pictures have like basically no chance i think the fan art contest should have non-computer generated picture and computer generated picture |

Well, i favour original work it takes far greater skill to produce a quality image entirely fabricated in ur imagination. Copyng is really base level art its where we all start out in art, like i did from pg tips little picture cards that came in the pack wen i was 5/6 lol even if its a modification u only hav to follow the guidlines. Personally, im not saying u hav 2 agree, art should be creative and have an element of skill to it, there isnt much creativity to be found in a copy besied the act of creating the copy its self.
Iam not having a go but standing by my original point tho, traditional media is something that requires a great deal of skill to do well, as does cg art but there is less room for error in the traditonal format.
Cg art obviously has broader appeal due to its clean appearence but alot of us are artists here so some recognition of skill and effort regardless of media type would be nice |

If it doesn't have a * next to its name, it's not an original piece. I'm pretty sure that the pencil drawings you're refering to are copies and not original drawings. |

| i appreiciate the style of this pic, but i agree with the lack in detail. the last one that won...in the lower half there was astonishing shading, particularily in the legs, i loved it. and the link one had it's own highpoints that shined, but in my opinion this one doesn't shine. a nice pic though, indeed. |
