Now lets talk about this two jutsu which one will u think is stronger?

Or lets put this way which is your Favorite between this 2 jutsu

For me 4 now i think Chidori how about u guyz?

yup rasengan is much stronger than chidori... chidori just looks cool but rasengan is difinitely much much more stronger...

just check out the part when naruto and sasuke 1st tried their newly learned jutsu... where kakashi stopped them... then you'll know

ha, this is a hard question, well i think that the ransengan is draw better in the anime but chidori seems so cool, but the ransengan is like an original, no one has ever done a move like that... i'd go with ransengan

yeah rasengan is more powerfull than chidori...rasengan power is to concentrate the cakra in a form than blast it on the enemy,..chidori just like covering your palm with cakra and hit the enemy but the the effect wont be like rasengan... Very Happy

rasengan is stronger because it was a complete jutsu to begin with

chidori isn't a complete jutsu....you must attack in a straight line because it requires speed...

becuase sasuke and kakashi has the sharingan they are able to dodge any attack last second to land the attack....however...if someone else used chidori they could get killed last second just before they hit

because of this chidori is weaker than rasengan......

Rasengan can't always be performed more than Chidori. It's because of Naruto's crazy chakra capacity.
Anyways, Chidori probably has less power overall, but Chidori is the one doing the concentrating. It focuses the chakra into a point, which will deal a lot more damage than Rasengan if it hits head on. However, Rasengan has a bit more leeway. Since it is a blast, it's much harder to dodge, since even if you don't take it head on, the swirly air chakra thingies will still bring the pain.
For example, when Chidori was used by Kakashi, it went straight through the victim. Even Sasuke could make it go through Gaara's ultimate defense. When the Rasengan was used, it did a flashy thing, dealt a lot of damage, but in the end, the victim had a lot of internal damage, nothing more. Naruto could only stun Kabuto and immobilize him for a minute. Granted, Kabuto was a medic nin and even then he was beat, but you can be sure Chidori would have impaled his sorry hide. And even if Kabuto wasn't healing himself, it wouldn't be an instantaneous death.
So, in conclusion: It's a matter of skill. Chidori takes more skill to use, because it's basically all or nothing. You hit head on=pwnage. You miss or glance off=pwned. With rasengan, you can hit head on and deal a good amount of damage, or you can hit off and still deal decent damage.
I go with chidori.

thankz praxisilver for ur good comments yes ur right chidori is use only for assasination while rasengan for full maximum damage yes it can kill but ur enemy is a ninja like kabuto a medical ninjutso he counter it so it stills defend on the user and the enemy but for forther news chidori still rock and itss cool too ^^

tough question, i think it would depend on who is using what. so far at least 2 people can use both the attacks
