bike helmets, who else but me wears them?

helmets can really save lives... but not many people bother with it if you just ride it, for example, between classes to commute @ a Uni. it's uncomfortable and messes up ur hair...

but if i actually went on a biking trip, it'll probably be a good idea

yeah, id wear it if i was wearing it for a long time, like on a trip, but i only usually ride my bike when im going to my friends' houses.. it seems silly otherwise. there is such a freak chance that in 2 mins of riding ud get in an accident. but yes, it happens, but oh well.

I always wear my helmet, Dood people there are cool helmets you know. Shoei, AGV, Arai a bunch of companies make helmets with designs.

I don't wear one, not because it would mess up my hair (which is one of the dumbest reasons ever), but because I believe it doesn't matter. I'm careful in every other way, follow the rules, have my lights on, mainly drive on not so broadly used streets and stuff. And so far I never had an accident. And hopefully will never have one. I know helmets really hold some of the really nasty injuries back, but on the other hand here in Berlin lots of those wearing helmets ride their bike like they're invincible. Which they're not, and no helmet on earth can save you, if you participate in a really nasty accident...
I just believe paying attention and being aware of the risks in traffic is better than wearing a helmet and feeling save.

yeah, i do.
i usually wear my helmet when i go to work in the city, theres a law there that if u dont wear ur helmet and a cop catches u, u get $51 fine.
and those police officers are everywhere, mostly on their bikes.
but in the outer suburbs, i usually dont wear a helmet, because i know i can get away with it.
yeah, it does wreck the hair, especially if u spend many minutes trying to get it right...like me

i dnt wear helmets..

here in japan, have a bike line for bikers..so less accident
and its much safer cuz the line have smooth path. u only cross at predestrian line.

but 5 below kids, have to wear helmets its a must.
wen a patroling police caught u, u'll pay a fine..2,000yen- up i think.

traffics rules here are very strict u have to do them.

nope, i hate bicycle helmets, they make me look like a freakin mushroom and people laugh at me on the street, so now i don't ride bikes or wear helmets. Crying or Very sad

anyways to stay on topic.. i wear a helmet everytime i go biking.. its the law and it raises my chances of surviving a crash...
